After work treat.

The day seemed longer then ever. The commission today kicked your ass. Tired as hell you have no choice but to report back to the knights. The afternoon walk from wolvendom was calming yet still tiring. The cool wind brushed leaves around and the sun setting over head was always your favorite part of mondstadt, nearing the cities gates you gather your mind and think of how to tell jean that today was shit. The sleepy town slowly comes to a close.The lights in around shine bright while people head home and close up shop for today. You sigh slightly, ready to head home. You now arrive at the knights headquarters. Entertaining the huge doors you knock on jeans office. "Come in." a firm voice calls, it's not jean. You open the door and your eyes are greeted by the slight of the Calvary captain, kaeya.

"Ah traveler, it's been awhile. Make yourself comfortable." He smiles as you shut the door, sitting down on the chair in front of jeans desk. "Hey, where jean i was just about to tell her about today's commissions." you say. "Oh my apologies, i completely forgot to tell you, master jean and miss lisa are out for today, as i recall both are just a little ill so in the mean time i'm taking jeans place. However the library isn't much work so i'm letting amber help me in there when i need it." He explains while messing with a few papers on the desk. "Oh well i just wanted to tell jean that tomorrow i might not be able to attend tomorrow's commissions, today i was just a little unprepared and just got worn out but i'll make sure it won't happen again." He laughed slightly. "You seem to forget us knights are here to help when ever you need it. Don't worry tomorrow i'll help you do them just let me know a time and a place." You nod and felt relief run through you. "Thank you, well that's all i really should rest a bit." You say, getting up from your seat and heading to the door. "Before you head out-," you pause and turn to here what he has to say. "How about when my shift is done we can go to the tavern, you've had it rough today it's the least i can do." you look at the time and nod. "Of course, see you in a bit." you make your way out of the knights headquarters and make your way to the knights living quarters.

Going to your room you collapse on the bed, tiredness runs through you. While resting on the bed the only thing you can think of is just being with him, butterflies creep up in your stomach, feeling your face glow a soft pink. 'Why i'm i so nervous it's just kaeya. I've been around him before what's so different now?' That's all you managed to think. Time flys fast, looking over at time you rush to get ready. You shower and just put on comfortable clothes. Heading out of the living quarters you make your way to the tavern. The cool wind hits your skin, making you shiver a bit however nearing the tavern that feeling creeps back on you, butterflies fill you and your mind runs blank all you can think about is him. It's odd you try to brush it off but it won't go away. You make your way to the tavern and head inside. The tavern is oddly full tonight yet you stand near the side of the door and look for kaeya. Out of no where he pops from around the corner, making you jump slightly. "You've finally made it, i already got wine upstairs for us." he says grabbing your hand and leading you up stairs through the crowd. You take notice of his cold hands but ignore it all you can think of his him. once up stairs he lets go of your hand and leads you over to the table he has for you two.

You relax you mind and both of you get lost in conversation, yet you both fail to pay attention to how much you've been drinking. You go on about other nations and how's it so different from there to here. While going on about your sights you're cut off suddenly. "You know, it might be the lighting but archons you look so cute right now. I mean you always do but anyway continue." He is taking in all of your features while the fait smell of alcohol comes off of him. At a lost for words your face runs red. "Oh- wow i'm uh anyway what was i saying." Those damn butterflies flood into you, your mind is foggy all you can think of is his words. "Awe don't get so anxious around me darling i'm just saying what i've always though about you. Heh don't even get me started about my day dreams with you." He take a slip of his wine but while he was talking he was also slurring on words a bit. "A-Ah well look at the time, we should really be heading out soon almost everyone is gone." You stood up, trying to hide your embarrassment. "Heh alright, let's head to my place instead of the knights headquarters." he gets up and heads down stairs, making you way out of the tavern and onto the cities empty streets. He puts a arm around your shoulder and pulls you close. "You seem cold and i don't have my coat so this is the best i can do for right now." Now your whole body runs hot, you don't mind but seeing this side of him makes your mind run all over the place.
