"reducto." yunhee mumbled, pointing her wand at another 'mark lee stinks' badge worn by a student. many students had them so yunhee had been going around and using the spell to break them into pieces.

"when did you learn that spell, by the way?" mark asked, walking beside her. they were on their way to find cedric to warn him that the first task was dragons. mark had met hagrid at midnight and had seen the dragons, that's how he knew.

"renjun taught me it... and about him, i promise he'll realise ignoring you is a dumb thing. be patient and he'll come back soon..." she told him. her voice went quieter so she could mumble under her breath, "i hope so because i need to speak to him too."

"yeah, but even jeno and chenle have taken his side."

"what?" she grabbed his wrist, stopping him. "no, mark, there are no sides. it's just you and renjun, two best friends, who are going through some stuff and will find your way back to each other. jeno and chenle are keeping renjun company while i keep you company. that's all."

"right..." he muttered, frowning.

"cheer up! come on, let's find cedric then go sneak into the kitchens like before." she suggested, linking her arm with his. she dragged him towards the courtyards where she could see cedric laying on a bench with his friends surrounding him. on their way, a group of students blocked their path.

"like the badge?"

"excuse me." mark said, trying to push through and make room for him and yunhee to get past.

"reducto." yunhee muttered, blasting the boy's badge into pieces. it distracted him enough to allow her and mark to get through. they strided over to cedric who got up as soon as he noticed the two younger students.

"hey! read the badge, mark!"

"excuse me, cedric, but is it all right if we have a word with you? it won't be long. we don't want to keep you from your friends. such a lovely bunch." yunhee spoke. the other students stayed quiet, knowing her to be a nice student who they didn't want to offend.

"yeah, sure." he stood up, following the two a distance away from his friends.

"dragons. that's the first task. they've got one for each of us." mark told him.

"are you serious? and fleur and krum, do they...?"

"yes." mark replied, choosing to ignore the students that were constantly yelling insulting things at him.

"hey, listen. about the badges, i've asked them not to wear them, but..." cedric grabbed his arm to stop him from leaving.

"don't worry about it." he shook his head, leaving yunhee with cedric.

"good luck, ced. make us hufflepuffs proud!" she cheered, clasping her hands together.

"will do." he replied and returned back to his friends.

yunhee smiled, turning around to find mark again. she did find him, but he was with renjun and the others. he wasn't just with him, he was arguing with him.
