"hey, tsukki!" y/n beamed as she walked into the gym with the boy. "i told you not to follow me here." tsukishima said coldly.

y/n rolled her eyes at the tall boy and smiled, "c'mon, kei! you know you're happy to see me!" tsukishima gave the girl a small smile before throwing her into the gym closet. "if i give you a hug will you sit quietly until i'm done with practice?" y/n nodded and smiled as the blonde gave her a quick hug. "now hurry and get your ass over there." tsukishima gently pushed y/n out of the closet and walked past her to the court.

tsukishima and y/n have been best friends since they were babies. their moms have been best friends since they were kids so they thought it seemed fit for their kids to be best friends as well.

tsukishima and y/n were stuck together like glue, wherever one went, the other would follow. they stopped going to the same school before they started junior high, which the two didn't like at all but it was hard to focus in class because the two were always talking to each other.

during the middle of their junior year of high school they confessed their love to each other.
however, the two wanted to take things slow.

tsukishima was totally whipped for the girl despite the way he treats her in front of others. he would do anything for that girl.

he didn't like y/n following him to his practices because he didn't want his teammates to know he was a total simp for the beautiful girl. and he knew his teammates would take a liking to her instantly.

but today, y/n didn't listen to his rule about not following him. she was always instructed to wait for him at his house, the two lived near each other and it was a routine for y/n to always be at his house after school.

y/n quietly watched as nishinoya and tanaka were asking about who she was. she remembers them from the games, tsukishima liked to tell her about his teammates.

"is she your girlfriend, tsukki?" nishinoya questioned.

"no."

"you're lying, bro! i can tell!" tanaka told him.

"shut up, baldy." tsukishima snapped making y/n giggle. she quickly stopped when she noticed tanaka had a sad look on his face.

"tsukishima kei!" sugawara scolded.

tsukishima turned to the girl, a dangerous look on his face, don't you do it.

she knew what he was thinking, but she didn't like it when he made others sad. "tsukki! say sorry!" y/n ordered, she was laughing in her head, teasing him was fun.

tsukishima looked at tanaka before sighing, "sorry." he said coldly making everyone gasp.

"woah! you're like.. tsukishima's tamer or something! and he lets you call him tsukki!" hinata pointed out making her laugh.

"do you get paid to watch tsukishima? ARE YOU HIS BABYSITTER?" nishinoya asked whilst jumping up and down.

"all the money in the world wouldn't be enough to take the time out of my day to watch that beanpole." kageyama commented while glaring at tsukishima. y/n started to laugh along with nishinoya.

she felt tsukishima burning holes through her head and she quickly shut up. "everyone! back to practice." daichi ordered. "i can't with them anymore. i just can't." the captain mumbled to himself as he rubbed his temples. asahi gave daichi a pat on the back and looked at his teammates with a worried look.

once practice was over everyone was talking to y/n and getting to know her, they couldn't help but gush about how pretty she was. tsukishima glared as his teammates showered the girl in compliments.

y/n thanked them for their compliments and exchanged numbers with all of them. "hi, i'm kageyama tobio." kageyama introduced as he held out his hand. "hi, i'm y/n." the two shook hands and kageyama blushed. tsukishima noticed and called for his best friend, "y/n, we're going!" y/n nodded and waved bye to everyone.

the team gasped as they saw their salty middle blocker and the beautiful girl holding hands.

"i see you've met the king." tsukishima said irritatedly. y/n laughed at him, "yup. he's kinda cute." tsukishima gave her a glare, knowing the girl was teasing him.

"geez, sorry. no need for the looks." tsukishima rolled his eyes at her. y/n gave tsukishima a kiss on the cheek, "you know you're the only one for me, kei," y/n whispered in his ear. tsukishima's ears turned a deep red, turning away to hide them. "yeah, well whatever."

once they reached tsukishima's house the two ate dinner with their families. "so, kei, when are you and my lovely daughter going to date?" mrs. suzuki asked with a smile. aoi, y/n's twin brother laughed, "as if kei would wanna date her ugly ass." y/n glared at her brother, "we have the same face you dumb hippo."

mrs. suzuki gave her kids an annoyed smile, "you two should continue eating your food before you won't have any tongues to taste it with." aoi and y/n quickly shut up and shoved the food into their mouths.

mrs. tsukishima laughed loudly, "gosh i love your kids." she said to mrs. suzuki. "but she's right, kei," she started, "when are you going to ask out y/n?"

tsukishima shifted in his chair, "i don't even like her like that mom." tsukishima lied. "but you should! y/n is so awesome and pretty!" mrs. tsukishima smiled.

mrs. suzuki nodded, "yeah! and y/n what about you? tsukishima is a catch!"

aoi snorted, "maybe if he sets his standards real low he'll finally like her." aoi got thirds and gave his sister a cheeky smile making her pinch his side.

"you know the secret. you know he likes me. why would you say that?" y/n whispered angrily.

"because if he realizes what a LOSER you are, maybe he'll change his mind." aoi whispered back with an annoyed grin.

"stop being a twerp." y/n told him.

"twerp? what are we five?"

"you're a good negative five on the hotness scale."

"girl, you know i'm a ten."

"with a face like that? boy you're lying."

tsukishima cleared his throat, "why don't we just finish eating." he said awkwardly.
