"Sabi ko stop being around here na," Soleil flinched after Celestia came out of nowhere.

"Maganda dito eh, 'wag ka nalang mangialam."

'rude' C.

"Why do you like here ba? Nakakatakot kaya, kinakabahan ako sayo," Celestia sat beside her.

They're both on the rails now.

"'Di naman," Sol scoffed.

"Yes it is, 40% of people around this town has been caught here. Or just down there, unconscious," Celestia pointed, lecturing.

"My mom died here."

"What?"

"What?" Soleil imitated, "the first Eve victim. Familiar?"

"It was your mom?"

Soleil nodded, "Aurora Gozon."

Celestia faced the unknown, thinking about only the unknown. Unknown. How come I never knew? How come.. she asked herself. "what happened? If it's okay with you, of course."

"Gun shot. I was there. Aalis kami ni mommy non, dapat kasama si Dad pero wala, nagpakahero- trying to save our company for bankrupt. Dad's enemies knew our plan so they followed us. Till we stopped here," Soleil paused, "Mom said everything will be okay if we jump. We were about to, pero halfway there... nabaril si mama."

"Kaya naging suicide spot dito kasi ginawang pauso ng mga putanginang nagsosorry kuno. Napakatanga ng mga investigators na yan to think na suicide when may bala sa tyan ang nanay ko. Putangina, ang tanga. Mga bobo."

Suddenly, Soleil felt a hug.

"Anong ginawa mo?" I hate hugs, but- Soleil thought. She didn't break Celestia's embrace, but didn't brace back either. She felt safe, but not free. Her thoughts were wrapped with the past.

"Wala na 'kong utang sayo," Soleil said, placing dishes she ordered on the table.

"Thanks, softie," Celestia giggled.

"Kadiri, bakit ba 'ko nag-open up sayo," Soleil cringed.

"Kasi I'm your dearest friend, duh."

"Asa ka," Soleil scoffed with a small chuckle.

"Oh my g, was that a smile?" Celestia exclaimed.

"Yuck, no, never."

"It was! Ulitin mo, picture kita!"

"No."

"Fine. I'll get you next time." Celestia's expression lessened down, "do you have someone you like, Soleil? May iniibig ka ba ngayon? Like, motivation."

"Meron," Soleil answered, while breaking her pizza into half, "myself," she joked, shockingly, gave Celestia a slice of her dish.

"You dont like?"

"Para kang baby, tigil mo 'yan," Soleil looked away, feeling embarrassed.

"Apply ako baby mo hehe charjokejustkidding," pagbawi nya agad ng sinabi nya.

"Ikaw ata may crush sa 'kin eh," Soleil hid her smirk behind her cup before taking a sip.

"Dont say bad words," pikon, "what do you study ba? Or just your dream job."

"Photography."

"Ooh, suits you rin. Future photographer, ack, very ravishing. Wait ko yan."

"Bilisan mo nalang dyan," another pagsusungit from Soleil.

"Look oh, the city's so awake. Siguro because Christmas is coming. What are your plans for the upcoming event, Lei?" Celestia has zero pause in jolliness.

Lei? Soleil wondered herself, but catching the catch immediately. "Sleep," walang ekspresyon na sabi nya.

"Ngi? Bakit?"

"I dont celebrate Christmas. It's not real."

"Is that what you believe? So negative mo naman. You'll celebrate it this year with me."

"Hell, no."

"Arte! Please? Wala rin ako kasama. Join me naaaa," she persuaded.

"Still no."

"Then I'm not talking to you muna," she turned around to face the Eiffel Tower. Couple of minutes later, humarap rin sya, "joke lang, hehe, that was boring."
