I woke up in a cold sweat. I checked the time, it had only been 5 minutes, but it felt like hours. was that just one of those crazy weird dreams that mortals have where they dream they can fly-' I BELIEVE I CAN FLYYY' one part of my brain screeched. I quickly shoved the thought away, part of the 'perks' of being a demigod- have random thoughts! YAY. or something like that... Or.. was it a vision?
I lunged towards my bracelet and put it on. I flicked my wrist, willing it to change into a sword, then flicked my wrist again, this time willing it to change into my bow. I pulled back the string and an arrow appeared in it. I let it soar and it landed on the straight on the bulls eye on the target board in my room, while doing so, it split through another arrow that was stuck in the board. I smiled. Then focused on what I wanted to do. I plucked out the arrow and examined the tip. Yup, it was made of the same metal Jemima's dagger was made of.
I am just imagining things...
I relaxed for a while, then soon it was time for dinner. The aroma fried rice wafted through the house. I sat down at the dining table facing my mom. She was amazing! Her hazel brown eyes glittered as I looked at her. She had her own style, wearing baggy pants with Zentangle design tops. She was brunette had her brown and gold hair fell all over her shoulders. She had a warm smile. Sometimes she wore her soft, ~'good vibes only'~ shirt that one was my favourite because it was my mom in a nut-shell. She was quite good friends with Jemima's dad- Mr Davis. Mr Davis actually nice, so I did my best to be kind although I could not tolerate his daughter. Dinner was delicious as usual. "Thanks mom!"
"Wait! I made brownies!" She said coming out with a plate of brownies. I grinned. These brownies were heavenly! I think the gods would totally eat these as I godly snack! We sat together and talked for a while. I refused to tell her about toilet detention because I could not bare to see the look of disappointment on her face. She was going to get a call from my school anyways... so just let her find out in her time... heh.. heh...
Hewo hope you like the short chapter :)
The next one is going to be about Jemima so brace your selves :)
