" 𝐓hank for choosing to eat with us, have a good and wonderful day" Soleil told the last couple whom she served.
Today for once, she finished early and had the afternoon to herself.
Just as she finished changing in the dressing room, her phone rung in her back pocket. She grabbed it and a smile instantly found its way to her face once she seen that it was Illyan.
After their date, they've been talking and talking and it was safe to say that the vibe being the two was immaculate.
" Hi Illyan" she answered his call with a big grin on her face, which of course he couldn't see.
" Hi Soleil" he matched her tone, " You off work right?" he questioned with a smirk on his face.
" Yeah why?" she asked confused.
" Come outside" he hung up before she could even process what was happening.
Soleil stayed stuck there with the phone in her hand for a good minute, trying to process what he just said. " Girl if you don't take that ass outside" she mumbled to herself, making sure that she looked good in her locker mirror before closing it.
She left the changing room and pushed the dinner's door where she was instantly met with Illyan who held a bouquet of roses in his hand.
" A-are those for me?" she asked a bit surprised that he bought her flowers. Truth be told, no one has ever been that affectionate toward her.
" Yeah" he chuckled. " I figured that since I didn't bought you flowers fa' our last date, I could do it na'," he shrugged with a smile on his face. Honestly buying her flowers made him feel good on the inside, it made him feel like he was finally doing something right.
" Thank you" she cheesed taking the flowers from him. " They smell so good" she added, to say that she was astonished by the flowers was an understatement. To her, even small things were big things, she was appreciative of everything.
" Yeah?" he asked as he put his arm around her shoulder and led her to the car.
" Yeah, you know when the flowers fresh out the store, they have that special smell and I love it so much" she explained with a big grin on her face.
" Well I'm glad that you like it mama, get in" he opened the car door for her.
" Thank you" she thanked him with a big smile on her face, once she got situated in the car.
