Elizabeth stared out the window of the carriage as the world passed by nervously. She formed a line with her lips as her maid - Fae, -  watched her, lips sealed together into a frown.

'Come now, why do you seem so upset?'

Elizabeth looked at Fae and her frown seemed to only darken. 'I'm not sure if what I'm trying to be is what Ciel really wants,' she admitted. Fae began to smile cockily and cocked a brow.  'My Lady, you should try it. If it isn't, all I have to say is, your mand doesn't like himself an obedient woman. So, you try a different personality. That's just how romance works.'

The girl took in a deep breath and exhaled it, trying to stop herself from being so utterly worried. She looked down at her hands and fiddled with them, when, suddenly, she stopped. 'Fae.. what is this?' she spluttered, showing off her bare palm to show off a pentagram burnt into her pale skin, glowing a purple hue. Elizabeth gritted her teeth nervously, thinking about what to do.

'My Lady, as you'll see, that's a mark of our contract. You can never hide it from what I've seen, so here, take one of my gloves.'

Fae slipped off her right hand's glove and offered it to Elizabeth, who immediantly took it and shoved it on her hand, smoothing out any of it's creases. Fae chuckled to herself, and took out another glove for Elizabeth, as well as one for herself (from.. somewhere, I presume.)

Elizabeth took the glove as Fae slipped on another glove then allowed her hands to sit on her lap. While she did that, Elizabeth held her burnt hand to her chest, visibly biting her lip. 'But.. what if someone else sees it? What will you do?'

Fae smiled  sadistically (to herself more then Elizabeth). 'I'd kill them.' her eyes flickered monsterisly to a hot pink, but resumed to be a sunkissed yellow, startling Elizabeth momentarily. 'But.. they did nothing wrong,' whispered Elizabeth, continuing to stare out the window depressingly.

The carriage ride was silent, the clack of the wheels against the ground - and occassional bump, - being the only sound. Outside the world passed by, birds flew, the grass shivered and people passed by.

Elizabeth took it all in until her head only saw pictures of the world fly by. It was beautiful, warm rain dropping from the sky gently, and the flowers vibrating as it hit them. To Elizabeth, it was positively beautiful and mother natures' work. To Fae, it was stupid, and nothing but that.

Such different girls, both interested in two things: Lizzie being loved and her soul being taken. Rather melancholy, right?

The carriage came to a jolted stop, making Elizabeth look towards the door, expecting Sebastian to come and open it. Fae stood up and offered a hand to Elizabeth, who took it ungratefully. The door opened, and there stood Sebastian, his hair slightly damp from the warm rain.

'Good day, Lady Elizabeth. Who is this?' he asked, cooing to Fae, who responded the look with a head tilt and stern eyes.  'No one important.' replied Elizabeth, as instructed by Fae to say. Normally, Elizabeth would've introduced anyone knew immediantly and happily, launching onto her mystery person so this made Sebastian rather suspicous.

'Of course, Lady Elizabeth. Let's get you inside now.' he was about to take Elizabeth's palm, when he noticed the two females together. The two of them got out together, Fae slightly behind Elizabeth. 'Please prepare some breakfast. We hadn't eaten yet, but you don't have to feed Fae. She rather likes her disguisting tea.' The two walked into the mansion, leaving Sebastian standing out by the carriage.
