"Finally here!" I  got out of the car and went to see our new home. We just moved from a big city to some cottage in the middle of nowhere. There's only one other building here. Otherwise we are all alone. Just me and my mom. Apparently she wanted to take a break from all the rush. I think a normal teen girl would be devastated because she'd have to leave all of her friends. But that wasn't my case. I don't have any friends and it's okay because I don't need them. I'm perfectly fine by myself. I have no one to judge me for that in here so it'll be nice. I guess.

I started exploring the house right after helping my mom with all those boxes and bags. It's so big in here but so old, it looks a little bit scary to me. Like a haunted house. Every room gives off that mysterious vibe. And there is even an attic and a cellar, but I'm not going in there. Even though I'm already seventeen I'm still a scaredy-cat. I was always scared of my grandmother's house and this one feels kinda similar. "Ivy! Come down help me in the kitchen!" My mom shouted at me so loudly that I got scared for a moment. "

You know how they say that the dream you dream the first night in your new room will become true? Well i hope my dream tonight is gonna be pretty cool. The room I chose as my new one was cute. It looked like it was from a dollhouse. Old furniture in the color of pink and a small fireplace in the corner. I don't like pink but it's okay. I don't really care. Even though it looks like a space for a little girl. I went to my big wooden bed. Normally it would take me a really long time to fall asleep, like it always did. But this time I fell asleep right away. It was weird. I slept as if I was dead.
