"Okay you've got to stop doing that I'm about to have a heart attack!" I complained.
"Oh I'm sorry I'll wear a bell around my neck from now on" the boy chuckled.
I asked him what he was saying about the field cause he seemed kinda sad about my mean comments. But what was the reason? It's not like the dead field is his, right?
"Well you see, it used to be so pretty here, so lovely and full of life. This tree you're sitting under used to be so colorful, so magical, but it's long gone now." Said the boy and turned his face away from me.
"I'm sorry for asking but, how do you know all that? I didn't know anybody was living here."  I'm genuinely curious.
"Oh yeah I shouldn't talk about it I've said too much already. Hey wanna go to my favorite place?" He just ignored my question. What could he mean by "saying too much". I had so many questions lined up but i kind of knew he wouldn't answer any of them. His invitation was so sudden but I didn't have anything better to do so i agreed.

We we're walking for quite a while now and I still had no idea where we we're going. The path went through the woods and another field and then woods again. I was starting to imagine scenarios. You know how I mentioned i like horror movies? Yeah so now my head was full of 'he's taking you somewhere distant just so he can murder you and cut you into little pieces' thoughts. I kinda hate the way i think sometimes.
"We're here!" He screamed and I was ready to run. "Wow this is amazing" i gasped. There was a huge treehouse in front of me. It had a ladder and a slide down to a lake that was right beside it. It looked like something from a fairytale.
"Come on in I'm inviting you for a coffee." He said and smiled at me. I swear my heart melted at that moment. His smile was so warm and  honest. I didn't even knew this boy but I felt so safe with him. I don't know why, it's probably not the best idea to follow strangers into the woods. I couldn't resist and went inside with him.
"Do you drink your coffee with sugar?" He asked. I couldn't answer cause i was too stunned to speak. This was no treehouse this was a fairytale cottage. There was everything inside! A table, a kitchen, a sofa, and a big comfortable looking bed. "Damn I'm living in an antique closet compared to this." I thought to myself. "I gotta ask. Where do you live and what do your parents do? Cause you've gotta be rich if this is your hangout spot." I asked him without thinking. "Well i live around here. And my parents are not here anymore i just have a big family heritage." He said. He seemed so shy out of nowhere and I figured he doesn't want to talk about this personal stuff so i just stopped asking.
We drank the coffee he made and i gotta admit that was the best coffee I've ever tasted in my entire life. I was so curious that i went around the place just looking and admiring everything.
"I know this is a weird question but can i try this bed?" I said. "Huh?" He looked at me as he was a bit weirded out. "Come on it looks so damn comfortable let me try it just for a second." I begged. "Okay okay whatever." He said while laughing at my weird question.
I layed down on the bed and automatically went "oh my god this is so soft!" I heard him chuckling so I laughed as well. It was so weird out of nowhere i was so tired and didn't even notice the fact that I actually started to fall asleep. The last thing I remember was him pulling the sheets over me. And then nothing. Just the best sleep of my life.
