I woke up wrapped and intertwined with Josh, I had forgotten how nice it felt to be wrapped up next to someone like this.

I had promised I was going to take it slower but as his hand touched me last night, lust took over and I couldn't help myself

I could see the daylight shining through the skylight in the roof, it must be time to get up, but I didn't want to, I nuzzled into his chest as he lay on his back playfully licking his chest as he woke up, gosh I loved the taste of him.

While we only really explored each others bodies last night we had both been far too aroused for it to last much longer than a paw job, yet far too exhausted to continue it any further.

hey good morning" Josh stretched pulling me in tight

"good morning" I said kissing him not wanting to let go, the thoughts of last night returning and struggling to compose myself.

"I should get up and check were safe" I offered releasing Josh and getting out of bed, I could feel his eyes watching my naked body as I looked for my boxers

"your beautiful Sam" he said as I pulled them up blushing "not as pretty as you" I said running my paw up his chest while I sat on the edge of the bed.

As much as I wanted to jump back into bed with him I also was aware we needed supplies, and desperately, we only had enough for a day maybe two at best, and while we wanted to start hunting in the forest we would need string, and other materials to create traps to make it sustainable.

Our phones were now fully charged thanks to the house's electricity, and we sat at the table, scanning the maps and brainstorming. We were looking for a supermarket, something that would have everything we needed under one roof. It seemed like the obvious choice, a place where we could grab food, supplies, maybe even some medical goods if we were lucky. But then, just as I was about to suggest we head to the nearest one, I had a better idea.

"Hey Josh," I said, pausing as a thought struck me. "Supermarkets will be the obvious choice, right? But there's a less obvious option."

Josh raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "What do you mean?"

I leaned forward, lowering my voice slightly as I explained. "Well, supermarkets—they get supplied by one truck, right? And those trucks all come from a warehouse, a central hub where they gather everything from all the factories. So... what if we went straight to the warehouse?"

Josh looked at me like I'd just suggested robbing a bank. "A warehouse? Aren't they all just big, grey buildings? How will we know which one to go to?"

I smirked, thinking back to my summer job. "Well, I've been to one of them before. I worked at a distribution centre one summer, packing goods onto pallets for the local warehouse. My dad made me do it, said I needed to see the real world outside the farm." I chuckled a little at the memory. "I hated it, but it was an experience. And trust me, the warehouse I worked at was huge—full of supplies, everything you could imagine, pallets full of tinned food."

Josh nodded slowly, processing what I was saying. "I mean, I guess the power will probably be off now, but there should still be loads of dry goods left, right?"

"Exactly," I said, feeling more confident as I laid out the plan. "And even if it's been picked over a bit, there's a good chance there's enough there for us to stock up for a while. Plus, the warehouse is only about 15 minutes away, near the motorway junction. We could take the pickup, do a dash-and-grab, and fill up on anything we can carry. If we hit it right, we can load up and still have time to get back before dark."

Josh seemed to agree, his face lighting up at the prospect. The idea of being able to stock up on supplies for an extended period was a huge relief. With enough food, we could stop worrying about hunting every day or running out of basic necessities. It would give us time to start working on becoming self-sufficient, without the constant pressure of scavenging.
