It's 2:30 am the night before our big mission and I'm having regrets I don't think I want to be in V.F.D sure I will be doing noble work but it seems really dangerous like look what happened to Kit, Dewey, Olivia, Jaques, Uncle Monty, Aunt Josephine and Gustav 'all good people but all are dead' (wow poetic much) maybe I will do this one mission and be done with V.F.D.

Isadora's POV
It's 9:00 am and I have to wake Vi up,
''Vi wake up'' I said but she didn't wake up ''VIOLET BAUDELAIRE WAKE UP!!'' I shouted
''I'm up I'm up'' Violet said sounding really groggy ''hey can you gather everyone in the library?'' she said ''sure why'' I replied confused ''I will tell when we get there'' ''let me get dressed first'' I went to our bathroom to get dressed.

''I'm ready!'' I called to Vi ''okay go get the boys to go to the library'' she called back ''on it'' I said as I left the bathroom and started to walk toward the door to the hallway and left the room.
