"Ergh!-just come on!" Trail groaned.
He tried pushing his stuck wagon which carried many envelopes. He couldn't be late anymore, He sighed then looked at a sticky note which had his schedule on it. Trail frowned. "I guess I'll have to do this the hard way," He said narrowing his eyes. He positioned his back legs on the wagon. "Three...two...one!" He Said to himself as he put all of his weight to push the wagon down.

(His ref since I'm bad at describing things)

The wagon started to move a bit, "Ha! Yes!" Trail barked

The wagon started to move a bit, "Ha! Yes!" Trail barked. The wagon then started to go slowly down the hill. Trail turned towards the wagon and gave it one last push with his front paw. The wagon's wheel went over a small pebble which flung towards Trail and hit his snout. "Ow!" He flinched, he looked up to see the wagon halfway down the hill. Not going at a steady pace anymore, instead it was going faster than he wanted it to.

"Oh no.." He thought. He then hurried after the wagon hoping it doesn't get to far into the little town where he lived. "Not again!" He yelped trying to hurry and stop the wagon. The wagon sped up and Trail knew that luck was not on his side today. "Everyone watch out!" He tried to warn everyone But of course he was too late. He watched most of the people scatter into their homes or jump out of the way. Yet, he still ran after it. He glanced left and right catching glares from others with a frown.

It's not like this hasn't happened before...it actually happened a week ago. The memories of all his failed attempts to deliver mail like a normal mailman came flooding back. It was honestly very embarrassing, but he just ignored the glares he was given. Then suddenly the wagon crashed into a pile of haystacks. Straws of hay flew up and fell from the sky. He skidded to a halt in front of his wagon.

"Oh no!" He jumped inside the wagon which most of the mail fell out. "I'm in big trouble!" He told himself. "Trail!" He heard a familiar voice call. He was right. "Oh uhhh..h-hey dad" he stepped off the wagon. His dad, Thistle looked at him with narrowed eyes. "Funny story..I kindaaaa crashed my wagon again" he admitted with a nervous lopsided smile.

Trail rocked back and forth in his chair. He was sitting in his dad's office since he was the sheriff. Thistle sighed, "why?". But all Trail did was roll his eyes. He then heard a low growl come from his father and immediately met his angry gaze. He had to come up with a response, "sorry..." he finally said lowering his head. Thistle shook his head, "No more wagons, " he said. "What!?" Trail pinned his ears to his head. "Now it's gonna be even harder to carry stuff" he complained, "well you're too clumsy" Thistle huffed.

Trail sighed "I know..it's all my fault, once again I'm sorry" he apologized taking off of his hat. He got out of his chair and walked towards the door. "Wait" his father called to him. Trail looked back and tilted his head. "I actually have a quest for you" he said. Trails frown quickly turned into a smile. Even his tail started to wag. Thistle pulled out a map, "I need you to give this to Queen Sea Splash" he said pulling out a small box that had a bow surrounding it to keep it shut.

"Okay! But why me I thought I was fired?" Trail asked putting the box in his pouch. Thistle got out of his chair, "fired?" He chuckled, "you're our only mailman until Furze is finally well enough to work again" Trail Took the map and headed out the door, "I won't let you down!" He said then hurried off. He glanced at the spot where the wagon had crashed then shuddered. I hope I don't mess this up again...he thought to himself.

He trotted through the Wondering Woods with his ears pricked. "This place is kinda scary" he mumbled to himself jumping over a fallen tree branch. He pulled out the map ever so often. He was pretty good at following directions..kinda.
He's never delivered to the Sea Palace before. So everything is gonna be new to him. He swerved around trees and bushes. He glanced up at the sky and heard the faint sound of thunder. "Oh no.." he murmured. His trot then turned to a run.

He was sure he tripped over multiple things but that didn't bother him. He had to get out and away from these trees before lightning gets him. He slowed down and panted, trying to catch his breath. I need to hurry! He thought, or maybe what if I get shocked and get powers! He wagged his tail at the thought. "No that's only in stories..." he said to himself then started running again as he felt rain hit his fur.

"Yuck!" He shook out his pelt. He hated getting wet. By the time he was out of the wondering woods the rain starter to pour harder. Now he was in a sandy beachy area. He pulled out his map again and looked at it before putting it back into his pouch. The ocean's waves were pretty big. So he made sure he stayed away from them. The sun was gonna set soon so hurried trying to find the sign that greeted you to the Sea Palace.

The rain still poured and now he was soaked. "Ugherrr..." he growled shaking out his pelt once more. He sighed and went to a nearby tree and sat under it. "I can't let you down dad.." he mumbled. "Hey!" He heard a voice call. He turned his head towards the sound to see two Sea Palace guards, he sighed in relief until he realized they were charging at him. "Uh oh-" he was about to run but he was to late as his vision turned black.

"Ugh..." he grumbled. His head was pounding. "What happened..?" He said his voice hoarse. "You trespassed that's what happened" he heard someone say. He immediately opened his eyes to find see a cage surrounding him. "What!? I didn't mean to trespass! I was just delivering something to.." he looked up to see queen Sea Splash sitting in front of his cage. "Your majesty" he said bowing down, he had NO idea what to do. He didn't expect this to happen...

"As I was saying..I was trying to deliver you something from Sheriff Thistle" he turned around to look for his pouch. But it wasn't there, "wh-where's my pouch!?" He panicked facing the queen. "We took it to make sure you don't have any weapons on you" she narrowed her eyes at him. "Well I don't, so where is it? And can I get it back?" He said putting his paws against the bars. "No, you are prisoner here until "Sheriff Thistle" comes to get you" she said stepping away to go sit in her throne again.

"Please No!" He banged against the bars of his cage. "Let me go!" He howled but all he did was get ignored. "Swift, take him away I want my ears to stop bleeding" she said giving Trail a glare. "Yes ma'am" Swift who must be one of the guards pushed his cage into a dark room. He then shut the door and just left him in there.

"I'm gonna be in so much trouble.." he frowned lying down to rest his head on his arms.
