Magpie was reading another one of his favorite books called "The Autumns Leaf". It was pretty late but Magpie didn't need sleep. "Sleep is for the weak.." Magpie mumbled flipping the page of the book. Right now he was only on chapter 7. It was dark but he had a glowing mushroom,
glow shroom if you must, by his side. He was laying down on his moss bed.

The sun rose from behind the ocean. Magpie was sound asleep with his book by his side. Suddenly Sunny pushed through the vines that lead to Magpies' room. "Wakey wakey!" Magpie yawned opening his kind of red eyes. Sunny blinked "you were up all night reading that back huh?" He sighed lifting his head "yup" he sat it back down and closed his eyes once more. Sunny frowned then grabbed the tip of his tail and pulled him out of his moss nest.

Magpie sighed and flopped down on the sand. "Dude, I'm sorry but you got to wake up" Trail said sitting down next to him. "I thought you weren't a morning person?" Magpie asked with a frown. Trail smirked, "guess I'm changing". Magpie rolled his eyes. There was an awkward silence. "So..where are the others?" Magpie asked breaking the silence, Trail shrugged "I don't know" He gasped "what if they got kidnapped again!?"

Magpie blinked. "I'm pretty sure that didn't happen, there's like four of them. No creature would try to kidnap a group of four" Trail sighed "let's just go and look for them" Magpie frowned.

"Just to be sure"

Sigh

"Fine"

Trail was leading the way through the woods. Sunlight was peaking through the leaves of the trees that surrounded them. Suddenly a low growl came from inside a bush. Trail and Magpie both turned to see what it was. A furry monster with two big green eyes and long white whiskers, it also had two large ears and four legs. Long black claws unsheathed from its paws. The monster was as big as a tree.

"Gah! Run" Trail and Magpie darted off into the woods with the monster at their tails. "What do we do!?" Magpie asked glancing behind him. "I don't know!" He looked on his side to see his sword on his sword belt. "Oh right, I still got my sword!" He said reaching behind him and grabbing the sword with his mouth hen tossing it to Magpie. He easily caught it and halted by a cliff. Trail gulped "do you know what you're doing?" He asked, Magpie nodded in response "don't fall off the cliff!"

The monster stalked closer towards them but Magpie ran into the monster to stab the sword into its chest. It roared and swung Magpie around who was still holding onto the sword. He yanked the sword out of its chest and fell to the ground. Blood dripped from Trail's blue sword and from the monster's chest. But the monster seemed still alive but weaker than before. It wobbly lunged at Magpie but he dodged it with ease. More blood started to gush out from its chest and onto the forest floor.

The monster limped away with a whine.

"Oh. My. Heavens."

Magpie dropped the blood-stained sword and turned around only to be greeted by a tight hug. "Dude that was amazing!" Trail exclaimed. Magpie blushed "it was nothin". Trail's eyes went wide "what do you mean!? That was SO cool!" Trail exclaimed pulling away from the hug "you totally slayed that big cat thing" Magpie looked down, his blush reddening. "Thanks"

After that they continued looking for the others.

Sunny took the gem that she dropped on the caves stone cold floor and put it in the basket with all the others. "I can't wait to see Magpie turn into that weird monster thing!" She said excitedly. Frost and Primrose were picking fruits and trying to get along. Sunny and Aqua were searching for gems for Magpie. Right now they only had five.
