~i fell in love~

6th grade
Eddie's POV:
Me, Richie, Stan and bill were riding our bikes to the quarry

Stan and bill are in front of me and Richie they always ride in front of us. Richie is wearing a grey t shirt with black lines on the end of the sleeves with a pair of khaki shorts.

Stan is wearing a green t shirt with a pair of jean shorts. Bill is wearing a white t shirt with a pair of blue jeans.

I am wearing a plain pink t shirt with  red short shorts that have white lines going down the side of them, they are my favorite pair of shorts. Mostly because Richie complimented them once.

Once we got to the quarry we dropped our bikes off and got undressed then ran to the edge of the cliff and looked down.

You ready to jump Eds or are you to scared Richie said looking at me. First of all don't call me that and second of all no im not scared so shut up I said and rolled my eyes.

Whatever you say Eds Richie said. Can you guys shut up Stan said and crossed his arms, bill nodded in agreement. Sorry I said and scratched the back of my head.

Alright y-you guys ready t-to j-jump bill asked and we all nodded and jumped in.

Once we were in the water bill and Stan were splashing Richie with water and I was watching and laughing, I was laughing so hard my head was thrown back and my eyes were closed.

When I opened my eyes again bill and Stan were splashing each other with water and Richie wasn't with them anymore. I started looking around to see if he swam somewhere else but I couldn't see him.

I started to get worried. uh guys where is Richie I asked Stan and bill because maybe they seen him leave the water but they just looked at me with smiles on their faces.

I was so confused until I got lifted into the air and I was on Richies shoulders I looked down at him and he looked up at me. I started to smile till I remembered what was happening.

I smacked his head and he squinted his eyes. Ow! He yelled. You scared me you idiot I didn't know where you went I thought you drowned or something I said and crossed my arms.

Aw Eds I didn't know you cared about me Richie said with a pout, I smacked him again. shut up. I looked back up at Stan and bill and they were holding in their laughs, what's so funny I asked and crossed my arms. Oh n-nothing it's j-just you guys l-look like a c-couple bill said and him and Stan started laughing.

Richie dropped me in the water and when I swam back up his cheeks were beat red then I felt my face heat up and I realized my cheeks probably look just like his. I looked back at stan and Bill they were still laughing. Alright shut up it's not even funny.

I don't know Eddie it's pretty funny Stan says wiping a fake tear from his eye. I roll my eyes and I look at Richie and he's trying to hold backs laugh. That ends up making me laugh so he starts laughing and while they were all laughing I stopped and looked at Richie and he looked to pretty the sun was pointing right on him so I could see all the freckles on his face and his mess of curls looked to neat when it was wet and right then and there I realized I was in love with my best friend Richie Tozier.
