The air had cooled considerably by the time Lisa was able to slip away from the blonde. Roseanne had finally slept deeply enough for her hand to have loosened it's death grip on hers, and she was able to reluctantly pull her own away.
She was surprised to exit the tent and find a single soul still seated by the fire. Her eyes softened a touch at the sight of Elizabeth holding out a bowl of steaming stew for her.
"What are you doin' out here?" She questioned whilst sitting down beside Elizabeth, accepting the supper from her. "Thank you."
"Well I could have been preparing for bed but my tent was a little occupied..." Elizabeth shot her a playful smile.
Lisa coughed on a bite she had taken.
"I'm teasin' you Lisa. I have Anna's and I's stuff in Margaret's tent for tonight, though I believe Anna wants to stay the night with you."
"She's welcome to." She replied. "But that doesn't mean you can't be preparing for bed yourself..."
"Well I had to keep your food warm?"
"You should be keepin' you warm."
Elizabeth shook her head and leaned against Lisa's shoulder. "What on earth am I to do with you?"
"Feed me warm food, I suppose."
Elizabeth laughed and it made her smile as she glanced over to an overly animated Anna, who was naming off all the horses to a just as animated Jisoo.
"Did you know Anna doesn't find me funny?" She offhandedly mentioned while gulping down another spoonful.
"What? Anna adores you."
"Doesn't mean she has to find me funny. Which she doesn't. She chose Mr. Williams over me."
Elizabeth frowned, placing a hand on her knee. "Sweetie, Anna loves you, but sometimes you're a tad too... serious. She's just a kid, the dumbest of things can make her laugh and we both know you're not dumb."
She looked away at the comment and Elizabeth pulled her back by the collar.
"Lalisa, Mr. Williams is dumber than rocks. But you? You're the brightest there is among us. You know that, right?"
"Sometimes it don't feel that way."
"Enough of that." Elizabeth pinched her cheek before rising. "I'm goin' to summon Anna to get changed. Can I bring her to your tent after?"
"Of course. I'll meet you there."
Elizabeth leaned down. Kissing her forehead before messing up her hair with a hand. Lisa swatted it away and Elizabeth laughed while walking off to call for Anna, who audibly groaned at the mention of getting ready for bed. But she did jump happily at the learning of spending the night with her.
Jisoo was watching on with a smile, until she found her way back to the fire. Sitting down on the log beside hers and glancing her way a few times.
"Can I ask you a question?"
