Chapter 8: Guilt

A/N:

Writers block is taking over me ;-;
I finally got this chapter out.
Sorry if it is short I don't have much inspiration for this chapter.

Natsu's POV:

Me and happy flash away from the cell and into a weird arena.

"So....your my opponents." A voice says.

Who is this?

"Who are you!! Come out and show yourself!!" I call out.

Now I'm fired up!

"Natsu I have a bad feeling about this." Happy shakily says.

"Why be a afraid?" The voice questions.

I look around seeing nothing. Now this guy is making me angry!!!!

A figure starts to walk out of the shadows.

"You should know who I am..." The voice says.

I'm drawing a blank. I don't know anyone underwater.

"I'm clasher your worst nightmare." Clasher grins.

I'm tired of this guy!

"FIRE DRAGON ROAR!!!" I yell having my fire blowing towards him.

Clasher reflects the fire with his sword.

WHAT??!?!?

The fire suddenly comes firing back at me and I get blown back by the fire.

"Heh" Clasher snickers.

Grrrr....

"FIRE DRAGON CLAW!" I yell out.

"GAHHH!" Clasher bellows out whilst being thrown back.

Yes!! Nailed it! Time to finish him!

"FIRE DRAGON SWORD HORN!" I yell.

"STOP! Please!" Clasher begs.

Hmph. Why would I stop he is the enemy here!

"FIRE....DRAGON IRO-" I was stopped.

"Guilt." Clasher whispers.

"What?" I ask.

"I can't do this." Clasher says.

What is this guy ranting on about?

"I can't harm another being again..." Clashes starts to cry.

It's very awkward to see a man cry and have no idea what is going on.

"Who did you harm?" Happy questions.

"Well...."

~Flashback~

Clasher POV:

"I need you to do me a favor." Norzan sneers.

"Anything for you master." I bow.

"What is that exactly?" I confess.

"I need you to kill THIS man and his family." Norzan exclaims.

Norzan shows me a picture of a man with his wife who is holding a young girl about 5 years old.

I stand there frozen......shocked.

Why...why would such an honorable man hurt an innocent family? Especially on land!

Wait it's because of......her.

"Sir, I can't. Besides, it was years ago this isn't what she would have wa-" I tremble.

"SILENCE!!!!" Norzan is in rage.

"Never! Mention her.....EVER!" Norzan yells.

~end of flashback~

"I did what he ordered." I start.

"Since that day all I have felt inside of me was....." I continue.

"Guilt."

Sorry for a short chapter.
I also want to state that I got this fairy tail manga and it was the 46 edition. It has chapters 387-394. In the manga at the end there was an author note and the ending was shocking of this authors note.

It has spoilers I you haven't read any of those chapters. Now the reason I was shock was because in the end of the author note Hiro Mashima states:

"Now that Gray has obtained some really great power, keep your eyes on him!"

It took a while to process. But, Mashima was kind of foreshadowing Gray being evil in some sort of way.

Sorry just had to point that out. Next chapter is a flashback back chapter. I also left a cliffhanger about who is that lady Clasher is talking about.
