I just have to say something about my school.
I heard today that my school is going to cut ALL art/musical/theatric programs.
Ok first, in drama the teacher has to buy the scripts, costumes, props, etc. with her own money.
The chorus teacher has risers for when we perform....those are getting old and unstable.
Yet!
They have the money to buy new uniforms for sports every year and new equipment every year!
If you love sports I'm not hating I'm just saying that MY school funds too much money for sports and not enough or barely anything for the arts.
During dances they give out hundreds of dollars of stuff or gift cards to kids when they really need to spend it on other stuff.
This is all my point if view in all this. I know a girl who is a making a video to convince the school board to change that.
I hope you give your opinion and we can possibly have a chat about this.
