𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐄'𝐒 𝐍𝐎𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐄.

The light is dim—there's nothing. No one around. The darkness slowly starts to consume me. I want to fight, I try. But it's too suffocating and swallows me in.

Voices, I hear voices, "Help! Is anyone there?!" Nothing. The voices get louder and louder. It's deafening, it hurts.

Darker and darker, louder and louder. Yet no one's there. There's no where out of the darkness.

A light! A light through the darkness. And a hand reaches out for me! Yes, yes, please help me. I reach out, struggling as the darkness continues to pull me back.

They pull me out of the darkness—it's him... it's always him. I try to speak to him but I never get that far before it all vanishes.

With a loud gasp, my eyes shot open and I looked around me in panic. "Y/n?! Y/n, are you alright?" Daichi looked at me with concern. His hand was on my shoulder, which meant he was trying to shake me awake.

"Yeah... yeah, I'm alright." I gave him a weak smile, not being able to shake the small creeping feeling of anxiety. That dream. It was always and only that stupid dream that makes me feel like this.

Daichi knew that I wasn't ok. After all, he knew when she had that one nightmare she's always had since she was little. Of course, he didn't want to overstep, so he decided to change the topic.

"Mm, well we'll be there..." he looked at his watch "in about 40 minutes."

"Wow, how long was I out?" I sat up, scrunching up my face while aggressively scratching my head. 'I need to wash my hair.'

Daichi quickly grabbed my hand put it back in my lap and began to fix my hair. Think about it now, I probably shouldn't have slept so hard without my bonnet.

"And done..." I grabbed my phone and turned on the camera app to see what he did. "Whattt?! Daichi this is so good!!" I was beaming with joy and even though he didn't show it, I know he was proud of himself.
