Chapter 7

Third POV:

After everyone was done eating Mayumi finally got to the point.

Mayumi: In this school, the student council president is elected but other members are appointed and dismissed by the president. With a few exceptions, the president can also dismiss and appoint presidents of the school Committee.

Mari: My job, chairman of the Disciplinary Committee is one of those exceptions. The student council, Club management group, and faculty Committee each appoint three Disciplinary Committee members, but the chairman is chosen in an internal election.

Mayumi: Now then traditionally, the first years who present the freshmen speech is inducted into the student council. Miyuki- san, will you join the student council. What do you think?

She then looked and her brother and he nodded. The twins knew what was coming next which just now made them wish they had declined.

Miyuki: president, do you know about my brother's entrance exam scores

Miyako then turned her head to the left and started laughing. Not loud, it was quiet to where Nozomi could hear it. She always found this part funny because of her brother's reaction. She then looked up and saw what caused her to turn her head back to the left and cover her mouth. Nozomi was also quietly laughing and they were both happy no one was paying attention to them.

Miyuki: If you want a capable talented person on the council, my big brother is the best choice.

Miyako and Nozomi both were able to compose their selves and sit up.

Miyuki: Im honored that you would like me to join

She said standing up and Miyako could hear her brother call her name to get her to calm down and sit down. Both of the twins wondered if they should try and help her poor brother or keep enjoying the show.

Miyuki: I would love to accept you're offering and be part of your meeting's, but is it possible that my brother can also jo-

Midori: He can't, even if we wanted to add him only course 1 student can be part of the council

Mayumi: Midori you didn't have to say it so bluntly

Midori: it's true

Suzune: she is correct though, I'm sorry Miyuki but he won't be able to unless all the students vote for him to join

Miyuki: Im terribly sorry, please forgive me for being so brash

She said then sat down sadden by what she heard. Mayumi, not wanting the room to be tense then asked if she would be joining as the council secretary and she agreed. The twins started to get bored seeing that they didn't know why they were asked to be here seeing that with Miyuki joining all the slots for the council should be filled but they chose not to intercept seeing that Mari was now saying how she could allow Tatsuya to be in the Disciplinary Committee.

Mayumi: Nice one

Mayumi said standing up which caused Tatsuya eye's to widen following up with him saying " what?". The twins both laughed but this time a little louder to where Tatsuya could hear them. They were both able to see the reaction on his face which didn't make their laughter lessen.

Tatsuya: Please wait a minute, what about my opinion, you didn't even say what they do

Miyako POV:

I honestly felt bad that not only was his opinion ignored me and Nozomi couldn't help but laugh.

Suzune: Youre little sister didn't get an explanation about her job ethier but she joined

Nozomi: damn

Not everyone had heard what she said only me which caused me to smile seeing that my stomach was hurting from laughing.

Tatsuya: Well that's true bu-

Miyako: It's better to give up I don't think you're getting out of it

I said poking his side to grab his attention which may I add took all of my courage.

Mayumi: There both right, the Disciplinary Committee's job is to enforce school rules

Tatsuya: that's it?

Mayumi: yes

He then looked at Azusa which caused her to stammer a little but then told him the rest about the job.

Tatsuya: I would like to confirm one thing

Mari: Go ahead

Tatsuya: we're supposed to stop any fight's rather magic or physical right

Mari: yes, it's good to stop them before they happen

Tatsuya: Im a course 2 student because my practical skill is bad-

Mari: That doesn't matter

Miyako: damn I feel bad for you

I said under my breath which caused him to glance at me and I looked away so our eyes wouldn't meet.

Mari: I'm there to deal with any other struggles you can't deal with, lets finish this after school okay?

He then agreed and left it at that and now it was about time for class to start which still left me and Nozomi confused.

Third POV:

Miyako: um before we all leave or me and Nozomi

Mayumi: Yes

Miyako: Why were we invited

Mayumi: Well I did have something to discuss with you two but most of our time got taken up so if you don't mind could we talk after school

Miyako: Sure that doesn't sound like a problem

Nozomi: yeah

After they were told to come back later all the freshmen left.

Miyuki: Im sorry I took up most of the time

Nozomi: No it's fine

Miyako: yeah don't worry about it

Miyuki: Im happy to know you don't resent me, I said it earlier but my name is Miyuki Shiba

Nozomi: Oh yeah we arrived there first, even though we still don't know why but I'm Nozomi Kudou

Miyako: She probably wanted everyone to be there, I'm Miyako Ichijou, nice to meet both of you

Midori: Im Midori Saegusa

Miyuki: Oh so you're the three who ranked top of the exam with all the correct answers

Nozomi: that's us

Miyuki: Im supprised none of you were asked to give the speech

All three: we were

Nozomi: I don't like giving speeches

Midori: I don't want to be too popular

Miyako: I would have got nervous and messed it up

Miyuki: Oh

Tatsuya: If the president is you're relative-

Midori: Sister

Tatsuya: Sister, then why didn't she appoint you to join the council

Midori: Like she said the one who gives the speech is usually chosen and I didn't want to join

Nozomi: Then why were you in the council room, I thought only council members were allowed

Miyako: Im pretty sure if you're invited you can stay and go in any time

Midori: Yeah, she's excited about us being at the same school because living together isn't enough I guess

They were finally coming up to Tatsuya's classroom which is when he said goodbye and joined his friends and the rest made it to there's in time before class started.
