~Irene's POV~
"Happy birthday Darling!!" shouted Alexandra and Alexander.
"Thank you mother and father" she gave her parents a little smile.
"We have a great day planned for you!" they clapped.
"Huh, seems like they're much more excited than me" thought Irene.
"You don't seem pleased, is something bothering you?" Alexandra walked towards Irene and gently caressed her.
Irene stayed quiet. Alexandra questioned her again.
"Is something bothering you darling?"
"Yes, everything! I don't want to get married to a dumb old hag, when I'm just 19!! Don't you understand? Either the 'princes' are running for our money, or are cruel and unjust. Doesn't help that our kingdom has a lot of wealth does it? You are not going to listen to me anyway, what's the point of telling logical stuff? In 3 years I'm going to be stuck with abrasive prince who's probably going to be, I don't know 20 years older than me? No! That's mucked up."
This is what she wanted to say, but she didn't want her parents to be sad. It was her birthday. She put on a smile and shook her head;
"No mother, thank you for asking."
"Great! Then let's get on with the schedule!" laughed Alexander.
"First up, to the chamber of jewels!"
