Zhongli walked around the street of Liyue and observed the many products almost walking off with a jade necklace worth 5,00,00 in Mora and just when he was about to be forced to ether pay or give it back a familiar orange haired man grabbed Zhongli by the shoulder smiling at the sells man

"Ah! do not worry comrade" he directed his words to the sells man placing a pouch full of mora before turning to Zhongli "I'll happily pay for you Zhongli~"

"I don't care who pays" the man said counting the mora not saying anything as it was well over the amount needed

"Keep the change comrade for your troubles!"
Tartaglia smiled waving off as both him and Zhongli walked off

|Zhongli POV|

As both me as well as Childe walked off I held the necklace in hand before slipping it into my pocket

"thank you very much I've seem to have gotten myself into a troublesome circumstance back there and I appreciate your help" I could see His smug smile stopping in shock as I was groped from behind "why do you feel the need to do that I wonder?"

as we walked not yet noticing were we were heading till we got to a clearing in the woods

The two of them now weapons in hand prepared for battle before Zhongli suddenly felt a throbbing pain throughout his body sinking to the ground in agony he could see Childe get closer his words muffled to him before everything wet black

Laying in his room on his bed Zhongli awoken much later now midnight and looked around finding Childe to be sitting in a chair reading a book not yet noticing that he was awake now

Zhongli could feet scale patches over his skin and the familiar feeling of fangs in his mouth as well as the change of his tongue. He was quick to know that other things were also present now like his antlers like horns and dragon tail.

I brushed my hair behind me as it was now out of its normal ponytail state, I felt confused at this strange occurring moment as I kept track of my body's natural changes knowing this had come much earlier then usual
"How strange perhaps it was something I came in contact with or someone?"

As I spoke I saw that Childe had now noticed my awaken and gave a bright and obviously curious smile
"Ah ! mr Zhongli your awake~ I was starting to get worried when you collapsed like that it was so unlike you~"

He got closer and I felt and heard my tail thumbing against the bed and my heat in my chest "yes I apologize for such a thing I should of noticed I was... un well much sooner"

I spoke knowing Ajax wasn't buying it and with a heavy sigh I began to speak again
