thoughts on the rudy pankow & his girlfriend situation
as we all love jj's character, i am truly disappointed in rudy for not acknowledging his girlfriend's problematic past.
elaine has claimed to change and has been working on her past. she has said racist and homophobic things as well as made suicide jokes. i don't have a huge problem with being pro life but when you force it into people in a religious way that's where i draw the line. she has also fought with fans before making an official apology. i don't think she would have confessed anything if she was never caught in 4k! she is problematic and rudy needs to say something or else he is further going to be just as much of the problem.
i understand that she has made mistakes and apologized for them but it doesn't cover up the fact that it did happen. rudy not acknowledging her past and getting mad at fans is highly ridiculous and makes him look ignorant. he made a whole post about how people are mean to her but didn't even mention anything about WHY the fans are upset with her in the first place. as a poc i feel really sad and hurt by rudy not even saying "i recognize that my girlfriend has said some hurtful things and i acknowledge that" but he couldn't even simply do that.. instead he just posted about how the fans are "mean" to eliane..
[as for characters; i will be keeping rudy as jj]
i just want people to understand that he still hasn't made any effort to acknowledge what his girlfriend has said and done in the past and that makes him a look like the problem as well
