Every arrow hit the spot, tearing the traps and men that came in her way, her whole life she practised and mastered this sport, Archery and this was one of the best ways she was using it.

She mimicked the walk of a cat while tracing the shadows of intruders, she was slightly panting and sweating, her eyes continuously looking at every corner of the forest for any hint of the enemy. She shielded behind the trees while maintaining distance from the bushes.

From the corner of her eyes, she saw a huge man dressed in black dhoti and a vest made of khadi sitting on the branch of a banyan tree, his face was veiled with a green coloured veil and his eyes hooded with a high amount of kajal, he was looking for her as she was looking for him, without making any noise she stretched her bowstring and shot an arrow aiming between his eyes his body slouched down the tree hitting the branches along the way and came down with a thump, she focused on hearing any noise of panic after his death indicating any more enemies alive.

After searching for any other alive being apart from the bushes and trees she sat down on the ground resting her bow, her left forearm was bleeding continuously, and she was losing her focus on her surroundings while hissing with the pain she realised the intruders that attacked her had poisoned arrows and knives.

"Angira" she moaned.

she tore the scarf that was adorning her slim waist and tightly knotted it on her upper arm to prevent the poison from going any forward, soon after she started losing sight of greenery, she rested her back towards a tree trunk and closed her eyes, and after a while, she heard thumping sounds of horses and weakly smiled.

About 10 best soldiers of Kashi were racing towards the hills of Mahadev Mandir on their horses, leading the troop was commander Vijay Kumar who was focusing on reaching the place soon, the news reached him late through the bleeding guard of Princess Katayini.

Soon they reached the valley and watched two palkis and one injured horse, they searched for any sight of princesses but found none when a voice was heard "Help... please ..help" came to a cry for help from the bushes behind them after inquiring they find an injured Katyaini who told them the way Shivangi went.

Her shivering fingers pointed towards the Angira forest, everyone present gulped in fear, fear for the princess, Angira forest, had quite a reputation and history to itself, from dark magic to cannibal in other words Angira forest is a burning pit of death.

In the moment of silence, Commander Vijay Kumar got back to his senses and realised he needed to save the Princess who had come to Kashi as a guest he could not let the young Princess die at any cost it was his duty to fulfil, he tightened his grip on his sword and marched forward asking his soldiers to take Princess Katayini to the palace.

He rode his horse, tightly clutching its reign his forehead kept sweating and he looked around in search of the fierce Princess of Prayag, his eyes widened in shock when he found a blood-covered branch, the leaves covered in a hue of blood red, he started looking towards that direction after a while he find two bodies lying around bloody with an arrow stuck in their shoulder and between eyes, he started sweating more his hand started losing his blood and he felt lightheaded, fear was what he was feeling for Princess Shivangi and himself his heart was racing at an abnormal pace fearing what lies ahead in this dark forest.

He spotted a bow peeping out of the bushes it looked somewhat similar to Princess Shivangi, he prayed to the lord shiva before marching towards the bow as he got closer he saw an injured Princess lying on the floor in pain, he cursed as he saw her bloody shoulder and messy legs he collected her in his arms before informing her half-unconscious self his name to which she lightly nodded in acknowledgement.

It was 2 days after the attack, the whole palace was frantically running around in the care of both the princess as they were highly injured, luckily both were not in danger of death but their health deteriorated which resulted in extra pampering.

"May I come in" asked Commander Vijay as he took permission behind the curtains to visit Shivangi whose legs and shoulder were covered in bandages.

"You called Princess," he asked, he was fairly surprised when his servent informed him of Princess Shivangi's command, what was that she wanted from him?

"yes, Commander, First of all, I wanted to Thank you for saving my life you went Inside the Angira forest knowing the dangers, I highly praise you for your courage and help," she said with gratefulness.

"It was my duty Princess" he replied with pride in his voice.

"I want to gift you a land in Prayag for saving my life, and please don't deny it keep it as a gift for your marriage" she replied playfully when she saw Vijay attempting to deny the land.

this made Vijay laugh lightly.

"Also I wanted to ask have you found out who were the people attacked?" she asked with seriousness on her face which made Vijay stop laughing too he realised her true intentions were interrogations regarding the attack.

"We suspect Cannibal of Angira forest by their clothing and use of poison"
