Two years later

"Shelly! Where's my shirt?" I asked my inconceivable sister, as I dug through my wooden burrow.

Shelly and I looked nothing alike. She had warm brown skin, while I'm very pale. I have silk black hair and she has curly brown hair. Her light brown eyes really shined at her name while I had a murky green.

"Which one?" Shelly asked, as she fixed her part in her wet hair.

"The blue one!" I replied, I raced over to my closet and started skimming the nearest clothes.

"Oh, it's in the hamper."

"Why is it in the hamper?" I asked. I glanced at my black wired hamper, we haven't done laundry in a week so it was over flowing.

"Easy, I wore it for school. By the way, what'd you get me for my birthday next week." Shel explained.

" It's a secret!" I explained.

"Come on!"

"Nope!"

In the end I picked a pair of white washed jeans, a black tank, and a pair of vans. I grabbed my sage green backpack from my bed and traveled down the narrow stairs.

"Good morning mum!" I exclaimed, as I grabbed my breakfast and plopped myself on the couch.

"Good morning sweetie! Remember, the bus comes in ten." My mother had curly black hair and warm brown skin. She had bright green eyes that she always got complimented for.

I turned on the tv and started flipping through the channels when my father and Shelly came down stairs.

"The Olympics have started already? I thought they didn't start until next week." I commented.

"Yea, did you know that someone got injured on the US gymnastics team?" Shelly replied. I ran over to the sink and dropped my almost empty plate in the pile of dishes. I swiped my paper lunch bag from the counter and headed towards the door. I glanced out the window to see that my bus had arrived already.

"Bye mum, bye father!" I said as I struggled to put my rain jacket on.

"Pay attention in class." My father reminded me. My father had slick brown hair and light brown eyes. He's the strict parent.

I closed the main door behind me and hurried into the bus, careful to not get rained on. With a squeak the bus doors closed behind me as I started to walk down the crowded aisle. I passed lots of people but as I passed the jocks, they were the worst.

"What'd you bring me for lunch today?" Jackson asked. In football his position is Offensive Tackle. His tall friends huddled around me as they waited for an answer.

"Nothing much, just a tuna sandwich." I explained. One of the players held his nose as I walked away.

"Ew, no thanks." One of the linebackers replied. I quickly hurried to the back without bumping into anyone else. I plopped down on the leather bench and placed my earbuds in. The rest of the ride, I stared at the raindrops plunking on the window and listening to my favorite songs.

I rushed through the halls of school but I least expected to run into the people that make my life miserable, Zander and Zoe.

Zander had fluffy brown hair and dreamy brown eyes. Everybody loves him and his girlfriend Zoe.

Zoe has platinum blonde hair and light blue eyes. She's basically the "Queen Bee" of school ever since I got here two years ago.

"Watch it!" Zoe ordered as I crashed into her. My earbuds fell out of my ears along with my phone falling to the floor.
