"How are you holding up?"
The past couple of days had been a rollercoaster for the couple. Jeremy had officially moved out of the Gilbert house, refusing to be anywhere near his sister. Elena and Alaric had, of course, tried to stop him but he was sick and tired of the way they had been keeping him in the dark and isolating him. He had moved into a flat with Stevie, knowing he wasn't completely comfortable with the Mikaelson's. Right now, what he needed was space from everyone and Stevie was going to do everything she could to make sure he was comfortable.
Jeremy sighed as he placed his head on her lap, "I'm getting there. As much as I love Elena, I'm done being the last thought that come to her when she decides to go head first into danger. You know, she promised that nothing would change, that we'd always be there for each other but the moment the Salvatore's walked into her life, it was like family didn't matter to her anymore."
"I know it hurts but you are worth it. You deserve to be happy. I care about you, Jer and the last thing I want is for you to be unhappy or feel like you're not important. I hate that she's part of the reason why your light is dimming. You are important." Stevie promised as she ran a hand through his hair.
"I just want to get away from it all." Jeremy frowned.
Stevie smiled softly, "I think I might have an idea, if you're up to it?"
"Anything." Jeremy nodded.
"How about when all of this is over, we travel the world? Just you and me, away from the supernatural, with nothing to worry about. You're almost finished with high school, you'll be an adult so no one can tell you what to do and you'll be away from everything here. How does that sound?" Stevie proposed.
Jeremy shot up, "Seriously? You would do that for me?"
"I'd do anything for you."
"Then I have no reason to say no."

"What can I do for you?"
Stevie had no expected Bonnie and Caroline to show up at her flat with Jeremy. Said boyfriend had gone to visit his best friend and get ready for his shift at the Grill, he wanted to save up as much money as possible for when they do travel the world. He had never been more excited to do something.
Caroline sighed, "We don't know what to do."
Stevie poured a cup fo tea for the both of them before sitting in front of them, "I don't know what you mean or what you want me to do about it? You've both been quite vocal in wanting nothing to do with me." She didn't hate either of the girls, she understood that they were reserved about having new people in their lives. Anyone new that was supernatural to them always brought danger to the people they cared about.
Bonnie nodded, "Elena has been our friend for as long as we can remember but lately, especially after the Salvatore's bothers came into her life, she doesn't care about her friends or family or that he's hurting those around her or that her actions have consequences. She's supposed to be our best friend yet it feels like she's much rather be with them. I mean, she still wants to kill the Mikaelson's, despite all the warnings she's been given, she doesn't care."
"What are we supposed to do? She's become so heartless." Caroline cried softly as she tried to get a hold of her emotions. She hated being the person that always did what she could to protect the people she cared about but got nothing in return. She was always nice and would lay her life down for her friends and family but clearly Elena wouldn't do the same.
Stevie exhaled, "You are both two of the strongest, kindest, sweetest and bravest. I don't know what to tell you both regarding your friendship with Elena but if she's not willing to be the friend you are to her, the friend that you need, is she worth it? Because in the short time I've known her, all she cares about is herself and the Salvatore brothers. Are you willing to die for her if she's not willing to do the same?"
"I hate that our friendship has been reduced to this. We've done so much for her but she'd never do the same for us. How is that fair?" Bonnie scoffed.
Stevie pursed her lips as she looked at Bonnie, "You mentioned that she'd still be going after the Mikaelson's, what did you mean by that?" One of these days Stevie was going to kill that girl, if the Mikaelson's didn't get their hands on her first.
"She's blaming you all for taking Jeremy away from her. She's wants them all dead, no matter the consequences. We've told her what would happen if she killed any of them but she wouldn't listen to us. She's out for revenge and she doesn't care who gets hurt in the crossfire." Bonnie explained.
Stevie shook her head in disbelief, "And here I thought she's listen to my warning. I should have known better."
