Ring. Ring. Ugh voicemail. Why isn't Jon answering his phone. The last few weeks were perfect. Everything was perfect. We had amazing times together. Now Jon says he has been really busy from schoolwork. He barely has time for me anymore. Is he cheating on me? Oh God. I need to talk to someone. He is really my only friend besides Ashlie, but she is really annoying.
"Hey Ashlie. I need to ask you something. I need some advice." I asked her as I entered our room.
"Sure. What's up?"
"Well you see, Jon and I have been going out and it's been so nice. Now he says he's really busy with school work, and he has no time for me. It has me really worried. Is he cheating on me?"
"Well, I would talk to him. Don't jump to conclusions. He could be busy with schoolwork. You know he has youtube channel right?"
"He does?"
"Yep. He's pretty funny. He did say he would be making a new video. Jon's probably doing that. Oh and you should watch his videos."
He has youtube channel? I never knew or figured.
"Hey Ashlie?"
"Yeah?"
"Thanks."
"No prob, bestie."
After Ashlie's new advice, I decided to watch his videos. Jon was hilarious and of course adorable, and great with music. Watching all his videos, took up most of my afternoon, so I decided to pay him visit and texted him first in case he was filming.
'Hey Jon, I'm heading over to your dorm, if that's okay. See you soon.'
As I approached his dorm, I could hear singing. I put my ear to his door an listening. All I could hear were beat boxing noises. When he stopped making those noises, I knocked on the door. Then the door swung open.
"Hey Sabrina." Jon looked really surprised and his voice followed that.
"Hey Jon. How are you? I know you've been really busy, but I missed you. I'm sorry I barged in like this."
"No I'm sorry. I have been busy but I also have been really distant. And that's no excuse."
"It's okay."
He then took me in his arms and that moment seemed to last forever.
Sitting in the restaurant all alone waiting for Jon, I got some weird stares.
'Hey are you on your way?' I texted him.
'Yeah I'll be there in a couple of minutes.
Then a familiar voice surprises, "Hi what can I get for you?" I glance up at the waiter,
"Jeremy, Is that you?" I ask
"Sabrina?" he says and then embraces me in a hug, "Oh my god, how are you?"
"Good. Good."
"What are you doing here?"
"I'm waiting for my date."
"Oh you shouldn't have to wait this long for a boy. He isn't worth it."
"No he's worth it, he's just busy."
"Sabrina I'm so sorry I'm late. I was editing my video and... uh who's this?" Jon asks.
"This is my good friend, Jeremy." I explain
"Oh." Jon says, looking annoyed.
"Hey, you're that guy from Paint!" Jeremy explains,"You're hilarious."
"Thanks."
"Can I get a picture with you, if you don't mind?" Jeremy asks
"Sure."
"Alright. Thanks dude." Jeremy says and walks away.
"You know. I'm not that hungry anymore for Italian," Jon comments,"Lets go order Chinese takeout or something."
"But we're already here. Why don't we stay and eat?"
"I'd rather not." Jon says, and storms off.
"Jon wait!" I yelled after him, "Jon! Jon! Are you gonna slow down? Look listen. Were just friends."
"I don't believe you."
"Why don't you believe me? Do you not trust me."
"I do, I just," he paused for a moment and sighed, "I'm sorry. I freaked out and.. I'm sorry. That was stupid."
"It's okay."
"I'm just stressed out a bit and took it out on you."
"It's okay. Lets just go back to my place and eat."
