Searching for what seems like forever, I find my room. A dark skinned girl, with black hair meets me in the room.
"H, I'm Ashlie! We're roomies! This is going to be so much fun! Me and you are going to be besties! You wanna go shopping later? Let's go to Starbucks too! OMG!" Ashlie squealed.
"Well hi, I'm Sabrina. Umm I don't really want to go shopping, and I'm not a fan of Starbucks..." I responded
"Oh well, like maybe me and you could just chill and like watch The Notebook! It's like my favorite movie!"
"Umm I was actually going to meet someone on campus later."
"Oh well judging from what you're wearing, you could totally borrow something from my closet. What do you want to wear?"
"Uh I'll just wear something of my own. If you don't mind."
"Of course, of course. But let me do your makeup. Please!"
"Sure."
I had just settled in when it was time to go. Crap. Jon wants to meet at this cafe. I run out the door and fly out the dorms. Down the street, I spot Jon walking to the cafe.
"Hey! Hey! Hey Jon!" I shouted.
He turned around, and yelled back, "Hey! Sabrina! Come over here!" I come running and to my surprise, he hugs me. I try to be all cool about it, but he notices I'm acting weird.
"What's wrong? Are you alright?" he asks.
"Yeah I'm fine." My smile looks convincing but my eyes don't match.
"You're not fine. I can tell. You want something more, don't you?" Jon turns toward me and leans in. I remember our first kiss, only this time, it's better. The world disappears around us, and I don't even know or care, where I am. His lips and my lips touch, and it feels like magic. And even as cliche as that is, it's true. I could have died in that moment and not even cared where I ended up. It was perfect. When he pulled away, we stared into each other's eyes.
"Sabrina, let's go to dinner now."
