It was a dark night, if I looked out the window, all I could see were the lights that lit up the street and trash cans, some houses could be seen, but only the corners of the roof.
I starred out of the window from my room, hearing the trees surrounding my moms house rustling in the windy night. I'm Sidney Scott, a bisexual girl who had just turned 18. My birthday was yesterday, my mom surprised me with tickets to Ice Nine Kills next tour. Their one of my favorite bands, that and Set It Off. I found Spencer to be cute, his symmetrical face with his brown hair and his blueish greenish eyes. Everyday I think of his face, and now that I'm 18 I think I have a chance, probably not though but you never know. He does have a Fiancé, but I'm happy for him. A great wife with a great band and a great house. That's the life.
I heard a trash can fall down outside, my attention getting pulled to it. I didn't see anyone next to my neighbors trashcan, so I thought that it might be a raccoon. Raccoons are cute but damn, they are trashy. I dove back into my thoughts for a while before I heard the security system go off.
"Back door open."
I was confused at first, but was calm. Maybe my mom was going into the yard to smoke, but I didn't hear the door close. I sat on my bed for a while before thinking it was too quiet. I decided to get up and see what was up. As I made my way down stairs I realized that the tv wasn't on. Usually my mom has the tv on if she's going out to smoke downstairs. I also saw the light that shone from the door, I turned to it but I didn't see my mom there.
"Mom?" I said, slowly making my way to the door.
That's when I saw something shift in the darkness at the corner of my eye. My head turned towards the move, a person wearing all black except a white mask running to me. I scream, turning to run away, I felt their hand graze my arm like they were trying to grab me but missed. I screamed for my mom, but then remembered that my mom was at the store, I never heard her come back, I don't know why my brain thought my mom was already home. The person kept coming for me, following me up the stairs and to the nearest room, the bathroom. I slammed the door shut and quickly fumbled for the lock. The person slammed their body into the door, I scream some more and press my body against the door, shutting it and finally getting to lock it. I back away from the door as the person continues to slam their body into the door, the handle jiggling with each thrust. I cover my mouth hoping for the person to stop, but then. I remembered that I have to find a weapon. I grabbed the nearest glass bottle, filled with soap and hopped into the showed, pulling the curtains to cover me.
After a while of the person slamming into the door, they stopped, I covered my breath, trying to hear if they were leaving or opening the lock.
It was quiet.
A moment of silence.
BAM.
The bam sounded like the person threw their fist against the wooden door.
Silence yet again.
Jiggle jiggle click.
Jiggle.
Click.
Jiggle click.
Screeeeeeeeee..
The door squeaked open. I saw the shadow of the person move across the curtains as I prepare myself to attack. I gripped the handle of the soap bottle tightly.
Silence.

Drip.
SCHHHHH- BAM

The monster of a person pulled the curtains to the side, my hands flinging, the glass soap bottle smashing into the side of their head, causing them to turn away from me and stumble to the side. I jumped out of the shower, letting go of the handle and skipping down the stairs a little too fast. I tripped. God damn it. I hit the bottom of the step, my ears rigging, all I could hear was the ringing, nothing else. I stumbled up and saw the back door still wide open. The exit. I ran towards it, flinging my body, hoping for the best. But something closed the door right before I got out, I slammed against the door with a grunt and fell back. When I opened my eyes, I could see the person standing in front of me, holding a very sharp knife. I screamed, but I couldn't hear myself over the ringing of my ears, a warm red substance running down from my nose, blood. The person grabbed my throat, my first instinct was to wiggle out of their grasp, but it didn't work, their hand was so tight around my skinny neck. I choked, grabbing their hand, desperately prying at them trying to get them off of me.
"L-let me go! Ple-ase!" I begged.
The person moved their hand up to their mask, taking it off and throwing it to the side.
It was Spencer. Spencer Charnas from Ice Nine Kills. My crush.
I couldn't believe my eyes. Was it really him? Was he really trying to kill me? Is this all a dream? I couldn't tell.
"This is the last face you'll ever seen. So take it all in." He said, giving his cute sly smirk.
My god he was so hot, but he was about to kill me, why am I still falling for him? What's wrong with me? I sunk into his grasp, my eyes slowly closing.
"Sp-Spencer.. please...." I gasped.
He looked a little caught off guard from me saying his name, but he kept the same grip on my neck. I could feel my heart slow down and my eyes roll into the back of my head.
Is this the end?....

As I stayed up in the air, I couldn't.d hear the faint sounds of sirens getting closer and closer.
"Shit.." Spencer cursed, dropping me into the floor and running away through the back door.
I gasped as I felt the fresh smell of air filled my mouth and nostrils, so refreshing, so good. I eventually coughed as the blood that was once streaming down my face was now going into my lungs. I put my head down to stop it, coughing some more before heavily breathing once again. I looked up to see the white and black mask to be laying on the floor, causing me to back away in fear even though I knew Spencer wasn't here anymore. I heard the sirens outside get louder until they stop, 3 cops busting through the front door and coming to assist me. I smiled slightly as they picked me up and laid me down on the couch, asking if I was alright. I complied with everything they said, my mom running through the police and giving me a tight hug.
"Oh my god! Honey what happened?!" She asked frantically, cupping my face into her hands.
"S-Spencer, he attacked me.." I replied, still in shock of what has happened.
"Spencer? You mean that singer from your favorite band?" She asked, me nodding my head. "Oh god.. but how? Why? I.. I don't understand."

"Yup, Spencer Charnas from that metal band Ice Nine Kills." Officer Susan said, placing the mask in a concealed plastic bag onto the table.
A man in a button up and a tie stood on the other side of the table, his face twisting into a angry expression.
"I knew it was him! We all knew it was him and we didn't do a thing about it!" The man yelled.
"Hey, we didn't have enough evidence on him to take him down. But this, this and that girl is enough evidence to prove that Spencer is the murderer in all those cases." Officer Susan said sternly.

   "We got him."
