ELIZA HAD A secret, it was actually quite a big secret. she couldn't tell anyone but she was planning on doing it soon.
heres a hint: the secret involves august and maddie. was it a bad secret? was it a good secret?
eliza was happy august finally found someone that could bring her out of the depressive state she was in. she's tried but it didn't work, eliza is a bit jealous that she couldn't do it but was happy nevertheless.
now, maybe maddie and august couldn't tell they had feelings for eachother but eliza definitely could. she sees the way august lights up whenever maddie is mentioned and whenever she's interacting with her.
SO, ELIZA MADE IT HER MISSION TO GET THESE TWO TOGETHER. FINALLY !
