Eat was the first word Y/N heard as she entered the Saltzmans' room. "Morning Girls! And happy birthday to you both!" Y/N said coming to hug them both. "It's a beautiful day for a party. Right Y/N?" Lizzie asked the girl. Y/N slowly nodded slightly confused. "You're... cheerful." Josie said. "Why wouldn't I be? Mom's coming home, I had sex with Raf, my pores are practically invisible..." Lizzie went down her mental list. "Wait...back track, you had sex with Rafael?!?" Y/N asked. "Wait, you had sex" Josie paused. "Last night. You know how Mom always says that things work out in the end the way they're supposed to? She's right. I wouldn't have time to represent the witches now with a boyfriend, so you getting consolation prize is perfect. Also I need your guys help" Lizzie quickly said. "I'm going for Meghan Markle tasteful." Lizzie explained as he held up the pair of earrings

There was a loud noise from the doorway. "Happy birthday witches!" Penelope said, with cupcakes in her hands. "Oh, look, it's Satan in a crop top. Come to burn my world down?" Lizzie asked.

"Retro. Princess Di before she got style. I dig it." Penelope said. "What do you want?" Josie asked. "Oh, you know just to cheer you two up. You know, 'cause your mom's not coming." Penelope told them like it was an average conversation. "What?" The twins said in unison. "Oh I heard them cancel her pickup at the office. I thought you knew." Penelope said, acting innocent.

With a simple spell Y/N shut the door.

"Uh dad, why is you door locked?" Lizzie questioned. "And when were you going to tell us that Mom wasn't coming back?" Josie added, Y/N being Lizzie's best friend was dragged along with them. "I was about to there-there was a strike at the airport in Mozambique." He explained to the girls. "She couldn't compel a pilot and hop on a private jet?" Lizzie asked him, she looked over at Y/N and Josie confused. Y/N's just rose her shoulders. "She'll explain everything later. Okay? But right now I just need you to go because I am wrapping your presents." Alaric lied. "No, you're not. You're lying through your teeth." Josie called him out.

The twins places there hand on the door, saying a spell in-which caused the door to open.

Seeing Alaric and a mystery woman. "Well..that's an interesting view." Y/N finally spoke. "Who's this trollop?" Lizzie insulted. "I'm sorry how old are you?" The woman asked. "16." The twins both said. "Today. It's our birthday." Lizzie added. "Are we interrupting something 'cause I feel like we are."Y/N said. "I'm serious. Do as I say and now just go." Alaric told the girls. "Lizzie.."Josie looked stunned by the sight of the woman. "What?" Lizzie asked, turning over to look at Josie. "Lizzie, it's her." Josie said. "Her who?" Lizzie asked. Josie walked over to the shelf grabbing a picture frame still looking at the lady.

She showed Lizzie the photo. "Holy crap." Lizzie finally understood. "You're Bio-Mom" Lizzie put the pieces together. Her mouth slightly open in shock "You know this seems like a family matter so i'm just gonn- you're staying" Lizzie cut in as Y/N tried to leave. Y/N walked back into the room nodding.

"This is impossible I wasn't showing at out wedding. How.." Jo questioned. "You're family's crazy coven magically implanted them in Caroline when you died. She's their birth mother." Alaric explained. "Caroline? So..you two..." Jo choked up. "No, she married Stefan Salvatore. Who basically died on their wedding day, too, but that's a long story." Alaric said. "They're still very close." Lizzie cut in. "We opened this school together." Alaric further more explained. "I'm Lizzie, after my mother's mom" Lizzie said after she had went on about why her mother wasn't here; arms crossed. "And I'm Josie. Josette. Like..." Josie paused. "Me." Jo finished. "And I'm Y/N! Y/N Mikaelson. It's very nice to meet you ma'am." Y/N introduced herself. Josie chuckled.

"What's your name?" Alaric asked Jo. "Josette Laughlin." The ball glowed blue. Truth. "And what's your profession?" Another question. "I'm a doctor. I was, anyways." Jo answered the question, smiling after. Another truth. "Repeat after me: I'm here to harm you." Alaric said the ball in his hand no longer glowing. "I'm here to harm you." Jo repeated, the ball glowed red this this, meaning it was a lie. "How did you meet my dad?" Josie asked her mother. "That's not, uh, a question." Alaric looked over to his daughter. "I walked up to him at a college party. He was the only guy over 20." Jo chuckled slightly. "Was it love at first sight?", "Jo. Don't be so nosy." Lizzie told her sister. "Not quite. I flirted with him and asked him for a sip of his drink. He told me he was a germaphobe. But I thought he looked like Indiana Jones, so..." Jo's spoke, her answer caused Josie to smile and look over to Lizzie, but then stop smiling. "This walk down weird old people memory lane is fun and all, but we have a party to get ready for. Let's go Y/N." Lizzie walked out of this room. "It was great meeting you Josette." Y/N said as she stood up. "You can call me Jo." She responded, Y/N smiled. "Will you still be here after?" Josie asked her. "I will be there when I can. But right now the office is off limits."Alaric said. Josie smiled happy, at Jo one last time. Josie looked over to Y/N who was now standing night to her. Y/N smiled back at her.
