"Jean~."

"Mn..."

"Jeany~."

"Shhhhh...tired..."

I chuckled and whisper Jean's name again. I want to wake him up before he'll be woken up a different way. Frankly, my way is a lot more kinder.

"Jean wake up~."

"Nooooooo..."

"Alright. I tried. Kids! He's yours!"

I jump off the bed quickly as 3 little kids come running in the doorway, jumping up on the bed, and, on top of Jean. I laugh.

"Daaaaaaddy~!!!"

"Wake up daddy!! Come on!!"

"Daaaaaad!!!"

Jean groans loudly. It's been a few years since me and Jean got married, about 3. And, as you can probably tell, we have a little family of our own. 2 sons and 1 daughter, the boys are named Joe and Jack. Our little girl is named Maria.

"Daddy come on! Waaake...up~!"

"Alright, alright! I'm up..."

The kids giggle and jump off running back into the living room.

"Last one there is last to play Octodad!"

"Joe not fair!"

I chuckle as I watch them run off. I look towards the sleepy Jean sitting up in bed and smile lovingly, earning a smile back.

"Well Freckles, I guess you won. I'll get up to change now. Ugh."

"Those three are always on my team."

Jean laughs and I raise an eyebrow. It's the truth, they're always on my side. Well, to be honest...they are most of the time.

"Daddy, Papa, can we go to the park?"

"Please!"

"Can we?"

Joe, Jack, and Maria come up to where me and Jean are laying on the couch all cuddled together. I smile at the three and shrug, looking towards Jean.

"I don't know, what do you think Daddy?"

I spot a blush appear on Jean's cheeks and I smirk. The three kids are looking at him with hope in their eyes. He clears his throat and nods smiling.

"Alright. Let's go."

"Yaaaay~!!!!"

"Whoo hoo!"

"Put your shoes on guys."

I get up from the couch, Jean following right after. He glares at me at I look at him innocently, earning a shove to the shoulder. I laugh.

"Dad, Papa, come on~!"

"Let's go~!"

Joe and Maria pull at my hands, urging me to get moving while Jack pushes Jean from behind. We all leave our house together and start walking to the park.

As we walk Joe and Maria are running and jumping around laughing and smiling happily, while Jack just watches. Jack is the oldest one, and when we adopted him he was quite shy and quiet. Joe on the other hand, is a whole different story.

Joe was hyper and active, and he just loved playing. He was happy to be adopted and have an older brother, and I'm sure Jack was happy to have a little brother. When Maria came along, Joe had another person to play with, and Jack had another person he wanted to protect. Jack loves being a big brother, he told me because now he has to protect his little brother and sister, which was the cutest thing ever.

"There it is!"

"Race ya!"

"I'll beat both of you!"

"Careful you guys!"

I call out as all three of them run off towards the park. Jean chuckles and tugs at my hand, pulling me towards a bench near the park. I smile at him sweetly as walk with him.

"So, Marco, how long has it been now? Since we got married?"

"Hm, about 3 years now."

"Really? Wow. Feels like it was just yesterday when I saw how handsome you looked with your suit and all."

I chuckle and blush slightly. I rest my head against his shoulder as I gaze at our 3 kids playing and laughing and running around. It makes me smile when I see them all like that, happy and laughing. It makes me feel like a proud father, a feeling I yearned for.

I shift my head to look up at Jean from my place on his shoulder to see him already looking at me, with this gaze that was filled with love, and the most handsomest smile. We don't need to exchange any words, not a peep. I lean my head up and give him a quick peck on the lips as I nuzzle his nose smiling.

"I love you so much...Marco..."

"...Polo..."

"Stop it with that!"

I flicks my forehead and I laugh. I cup his face with my hands and kiss his forehead, looking right into his eyes.

"I love you too Jean."
