*September 21 - Friday - 3:53pm*

Ash's POV
As soon as I had gotten my suitcase from baggage claim, I rushed towards the exit. The airport was crowded, and due to my height, I couldn't see Hailee anywhere. I made my way to the main entrance of the airport and then I finally saw her.

Hailee stood with a bouquet of flowers in her hands and looked around for me, in between the huge crowd of people. I smiled widely and rushed over to her, tapping her shoulder, making her snap her head around to face me.

"Baby!" She said excitedly and wrapped me in the tightest hug, and I happily leaned into her touch, inhaling her sweet scent.

"I missed you so much, babe." I said softly, with my face in the crook of her neck.

"I missed you too." She replied and squeezed me just a little bit tighter.

"Can I please kiss you now?" I asked and pulled back, looking into those gorgeous hazel eyes.

"You don't have to ask." Hailee replied and leaned down, pressing her lips against mine, sealing our lips in the sweetest kiss. Her lips were so soft and they tasted like cherries. One of her hands went up and caressed my cheek softly, while her other hand was on my waist, holding me close to her. I sighed happily and I could feel her smiling against my lips.

"Wow." I said shyly, after we had pulled apart, causing the cutest chuckle to leave her lips.

"Yeah.. that was by far the best kiss I've ever had." Hailee said and scratched the back of her neck nervously, causing me to crack a smile at her cuteness.

"Me too." I replied with a bright smile, which of course she returned.

"Shoot, I dropped your flowers.." Hailee suddenly said and crouched down, picking up the beautiful bouquet. "These are for you.. sorry, that I dropped them." She continued and handed me the flowers.

"It's okay, baby. Thank you, they're beautiful." I thanked her with a soft smile and kissed her cheek, making her blush.

"Anything for you.. We should probably get going, my mom is waiting." She said and grabbed my hand, lacing our fingers together. She then took my suitcase in her free hand, before leading me to the car, where Cheri was waiting.

We arrived at the Steinfeld's house, where Haiz and I rushed upstairs to her room. As soon as Hailee had pulled me into her bedroom, she closed the door and pulled me into her arms.

"Hello there." I chuckled when I saw the cute little smirk on her face.

"Hi." She replied and pressed her lips onto mine, before walking me backwards towards her bed. As the back of my legs hit the edge of the bed, I fell backwards onto the mattress and since I had my arms around Hailee's neck, she fell right on top of me. I couldn't help but burst out laughing, thinking about how clumsy me and Haiz truly are.

"What's so funny?" Haiz asked with a small smile.

"It's just that we're so clumsy and then when we try to make out, we end up falling on top of each other like that.. it wasn't exactly very romantic." I giggled, making Hailee blush a little.

"Sorry, I guess I am kinda clumsy." She said in almost a sad voice and rolled off me, sitting beside me.

"No, baby, it's okay, it's charming.. I just found it a little bit funny.. I'm clumsy too, you know." I said and started peppering small kisses all over her face. She struggled to keep a straight face, and eventually bursted out into giggles.

A sudden knock at the door, made us almost roll off the bed in shock.
"Hailee, what did I say about leaving this door open?" Cheri asked with a stern look on her face, after opening the door.

"Sorry, mom." Hailee said, with a major blush covering her cheeks.
"Sorry, Mrs. Steinfeld." I said as well, causing Cheri to chuckle lightly.

"Ash, how many times do I have to tell you, call me Cheri?" Cheri said with a soft smile.

"Sorry, I'll try to remember." I replied, now with a blush of my own.

"It's okay, sweetie. Now, I'll get back to the kitchen. This door stays open." Cheri said and looked both of us in the eyes, before making her way back downstairs to the kitchen.

"We should probably get ready.." Haiz said and got of the bed.

"For what exactly?" I asked confused and stood up as well.

"For our date, of course." She replied and winked at me, making me blush so hard, I swear I looked like a tomato.
