Yandere Kanae Kocho (general)

-Kanae is a genuinely warm, caring and accepting individual, that's just the type of person she is. Her obsession would know no different. But no one really knows a person's inner workings, do they? Their thoughts, their feelings, but most importantly their intentions can always be masqueraded. No one could ever imagine just how much Kanae's obsession means to her, or just how far she'd go to keep them.

-Now, Kanae is well aware enough to understand just how unhealthy it is for someone to want to keep someone else all to themself, much like one would go about treating a possession. Much like how she thinks about treating you. She knows she shouldn't want you all to herself, so much so she's dreaming about it. She knows she shouldn't want to be with you every waking moment, or wanting to keep you as close as humanly possible. She knows she's terrible for wanting to be your one and only, the sole person in your life. She knows. She understands. But she can't help herself.

-No one would ever suspect that Kanae was capable of being obsessed. She's far too welcoming and kind that it would be hard to see her any other way. With that being said, it makes it a lot easier for her to get away with being just a little too welcoming or too kind towards her obsession. No one really picks up on it and if they do she easily excuses as nothing, nothing they need to concern themselves with. No one would really question her or her actions and she takes advantage of that when she can.

-Her actions and tendencies aren't a big deal at all. Honestly, she doesn't show or act on them as often, if at all. The most she does is spend as much time as she can with you. Or how she worries and chides you about being careful and taking care of yourself. It would really have to take something sever for her to ever show, let alone act on her inner tendencies. One thing that would certainly draw this side of her out is you getting hurt, whether by a demon or another human. It doesn't matter, if you're in danger Kanae is taking desperate measures to ensure your safety.

-Early on, Kanae is content with just seeing you, even speaking to you given the chance. She appreciates whatever interaction she can get but she never wants to bother you. She's more than fine with just watching you go about your day, so long as she gets to be near you. Kanae really loves spending any time she can with her obsession. It doesn't matter what they do, she just allows herself to exist with them. And, for a time, that's enough for her.

-Kanae would be extremely worrisome with a Demon Slayer darling. She can't help but be concerned when they're away on missions, she can't help but to worry for their safety. And she can't help but to embrace them when they come back to her. As much as she would rather her darling have nothing to do with being part of the Demon Slayer Corps, she wouldn't stop them from doing so. She would ensure that they get decent training, whether from her or another Hashira. It would give her some comfort to at least know that they can handle themselves, especially when it comes to demons.

-She knows there may be a day where you may not come back to her. She's well aware of what could happen but she never lets her mind stray that far. Kanae prefers to stay optimistic but that doesn't mean those dark thoughts don't haunt her. It isn't until she has you back in her arms again that she really feels herself relax, a calmness coming over her.

-Kanae could very possibly have a demon obsession. Whether they were a demon when she came across them or her obsession was turned later on. She would do everything in her power to bring you home, keeping you safe and away from anyone you could hurt or could hurt you. If she has to hunt you down and catch you she will. And she'll have the assistance of her dear sister. If it was up to Shinobu you would be dead right away but for her sister she wouldn't do anything of the sort. She'll help track, catch, and keep you.

-Speaking of Shinobu, after Kanae's death you would notice Shinobu making an appearance more often then usual. Slowly but surely spending more and more time with you. Whether it was her dying sister asking her to keep an eye on you or her own choice to stick to the only thing she had left of her sister, you don't know. All you know is that she's around more often and so is Kanao, and neither seem to be leaving you alone any time soon.

-If only you knew just how much Kanae loved and adored you, or how she spoke about you to her sisters. Then maybe you would know what was to come from here on out.
