he scoffed at the question, " well, i used to be obsessed with her a few years ago, but not anymore. " he cringed, reminiscing about the memories they had. the memory of when he was pretty attached to her at some point. " but i also found it easy to move on from her... it's weird how i don't feel any sadness like others do after they break up with someone. " it was odd, honestly. like, how could you be so calm after your significant other leaves?
jungkook thought he loved that woman so much, maybe even obsessed? but taehyung, the so-called love expert, once said, " if one person in the couple doesn't cry or feel sad when the other falls out of love, it shows they weren't actually in love. "
love is supposed to make you go crazy—being obsessed, crying, smiling uncontrollably. doing all that over your partner is normal. if not, then you should probably have a talk with them.
suddenly, jungkook laughed, thinking about something stupid. " also, can you believe it? i said i loved her, right? but i've never had my first kiss yet. so basically, i've never kissed her! "
he kept laughing, realizing that his past relationship was nothing but a total confusion. he never experienced the kind of romance you see in movies. all he felt was missing her when they were far apart.
but that's it—no jealousy when she showed up with another man and a baby. well, "nothing" would be a lie because he did feel sad, especially since she cheated on him. honestly, it felt dumb spending all those years thinking about her.
his laughter faded as he realized what he was saying. he had just been talking about his first kiss to someone younger —tzuyu— someone who definitely shouldn't know that much information.
tzuyu started laughing at him, seeing his cheeks flush red. " it's fine, i'm an adult now anyway. but whoa– that's kinda impossible, though, since you said you were obsessed with her? " she said referring to the first kiss.
jungkook just shrugged. " well, maybe i don't know what 'obsessed' really means. i told my friend about it too, and his reaction was the same as yours. he was weirded out. he said maybe i wasn't actually in love with her. " tzuyu nodded, listening to his explanation but still confused deep down. when he said he was obsessed, it seemed like he really meant it. he can't be lying, can he?
clearing his throat to change the topic, jungkook decided he didn't want to talk about that woman anymore. he really had no feelings or respect for her after what she did. he then asked tzuyu, " you? you must already have a boyfriend, right? "

she furrowed her brows, thinking it would be weird to have one, and shook her head immediately. " never been in a relationship. "
