Nyla Davis had changed quite a bit in the last year. The only thing that stayed the same was how her heart still ached every time she thought of her ex-boyfriend.
And the worst thing is she couldn't even watch the new Netflix show without seeing his face.
The Outer banks was a new Netflix show that came out in April this year, and Nyla wanted more then anything to be cast for a part, but the filming for OBX would intervene with the filming of the show she was in, Never Have I Ever. To be honest, Nyla was glad. If she had been cast for The Outer Banks, she would have to look at Drew Starkey's face all day, everyday, for four months.
Then, she got a phone call.
On September 1st Nyla's manager called and offered her a spot on season 2 of The Outer Banks.
"Nyla this is it! Another huge chance for you!"
"Eryn, what about Never Have I Ever? They start filming in November?"
"I cant just leave them."
"No worries Nyla, we have talked to the directors of both shows,
"and they have come to an agreement."
"In November you go down to Universal and shoot a scene of your character moving because your dad is in the military, as it was stated last season. And its super sad and everyone cries. Then you go back to filming in Charleston!"
"Wow Eryn you have really thought this through! I mean how could I say no?"
"So...Is that a yes??"
"Yes!!"
After Nyla actually said yes regret flooded her system. How would she face Drew? What would she say to him? Would she tell her castmates about their past? Or would she keep it a secret until it somehow pops out.
Nonetheless, that Friday, Nyla flew out of LA, and excitedly settled in for her new journey in Charleston.
