Rickys POV

-2 weeks later-

I finally did it. I have the perfect idea to propose to her. I'm happy I finally did, Y/N has been getting so suspicious of me. Now she can finally know what I've been hiding. Tonight is the night.

"Babe, tonight do you want to go out to dinner then take a walk on the trail and watch the sunset?" I say down on the couch next to her.

"Sure, that sounds fun." She looks up at me and smiles.

"I want to take you somewhere really nice to eat, maybe you can wear one of those new dresses you got a few months ago." Her face lit up with joy.

"Yes!! I've been dying to wear one that would really go well with the necklace you gave me!" She hasn't taken it off once ever since she had gotten it.

"Well that's perfect then. Oh and make sure you bring clothes to change into for the trail, I don't want your dress to get ruined." I kissed her and went to go get ready to go.

-before they leave-

I waited for Y/N to walk out of our room, and then reached under the bed and pulled out the small box that held the ring inside. I opened it to take one last look at it. It was perfect for her. I put it inside my jacket pocket and walked to the living room.

"You ready, my love?" I looked at her outfit and was amazed. She looks perfect, the dress looked fantastic on her.

"Yep!" She smiled at me.

"You look amazing." I grabbed her hand and kissed her cheek.

"Mmm you look better." I shook my head and we both headed out the door.

-after the dinner and on the trail-

"Ugh I miss that dress." She whines as we walked onto the trail.

"I know, but you'd be more upset if it got ruined." She looked up at me.

"Yeah you've got a point." She laughs a bit and continues up the trail.

"Hey let's stop here, the sunset looks amazing in this spot." We both stop and stare at the sunset. Okay..it's time. Here goes nothing. "Babe.."

"Yes?" She looked at me and smiled.

"I've been thinking about something for some time now and I-"

"Finally I get to know what you've been thinking about so much. You've had me worried sick!" Of course she had to interrupt the little speech I had.

"Yep you do. Anyways, I've been thinking and I love you so much. You're the love of my life and I'll do anything for you, no matter what it is. You're so very special to me. And there's no one else in the entire world I want to spend the rest of my life with." I made eye contact with her and she covered her mouth.

"Oh my god Ricky are you.." I could tell she was smiling, even though her hands were covering her mouth. I got down on one knee and pulled out the box from my pocket. I opened it and looked up at her.

"Y/N, will you marry me?" Her face turned bright red from blushing.

"Oh my god..YES!! ONE THOUSAND TIMES YES!!" I stood up and put the ring on her ring finger. She wrapped her arms around me and kissed me. "We're getting married!!"

"I love you, and I'm so happy I now get to call you my finance"

"I've gotta tell my dad this, he's gonna be so pissed, but I don't give a shit. I'm getting married to the most amazing man ever!!" She pulled out her phone and called her dad. "Hello..IM GETTING MARRIED!! I DONT GIVE A RATS ASS IF YOU DONT LIKE IT!" She hung up and smiled at me.

"Guess he wasn't to happy was he?" I laughed a bit.

"No not at all. As long as we're happy that's all that matters right?" We headed back down the trail and went back home.

Y/N POV

I ran to the couch and sat on Ricky's lap and leaned my head back on his shoulder. He wrapped his arms around my waste and kissed my cheek.

"I'm sorry for getting mad the past few weeks. I get why you were hiding this now."

"It's okay, I probably would of been just as mad if I were in your shoes." He held me as close as possible and played with my hair.

"Thank you for asking me to be your wife, this is going to be an amazing marriage. I just know it"
