6. Sepherene

As some of you may know, I asked if anyone wanted to see any authors on here and I got many replies! I  was asked by @TacosNPie to do a Q and A with Sepherene and this is her interview! Hope you guys enjoy!

How did you stumble upon Wattpad?

I came across it during the summer of '13. A friend of mine knew I wrote and she told me about it, but I was a little reluctant since I was still private with my stories. But one day, I figured I would never improve if I kept my stories to myself, so I mustered up the courage to make this account and post my first story.

Favorite story on Wattpad?

Oh man, there's so many amazing stories on Wattpad! My favourite would have to be [sic] by Scott Kelly, though. His writing style mirrors my own (though I'm not nearly as talented as he is) so it was very easy for me to become comfortable with his main character and the narration. It truly is an addicting read. 

How did you think of the ideas for your stories?

Wow, I never have a straightforward answer for this. My ideas come from everywhere, to be honest. I never have a single muse for anything. Life experiences, world problems, movies, books, or even things that piss me off create characters first, and then their story.

What do you think of your characters?

 I think my characters are insane. Point blank. Most of them lack morals, they do very stupid things from time to time, but in the end, I still love them the same way :P (I won't become an axe murderer anytime soon, don't worry).

Do you prefer writing on a schedule or updating whenever you are inspired?

I prefer a writing schedule. Keeps me on the ball. If I don't have a schedule, I end up slacking. This can be proven with the Langdon Crew. Poor thing hasn't been updated in a month or two.

How long did it take you to start writing stories?

I started out when I was around 5-6 years old. They were stupid short stories about horses or something :P Later on when I was eleven, I met a friend who was also a writer and she gave me the push I needed. She made me realize that I could do more with what I had, so I sat down and started writing seriously. I've never stopped since. 

What are your favorite genres to read?

My favourite genres are mystery/thriller, general fiction, paranormal, or anything to do with something creepy. I really don't understand why I like reading and writing such things since I'm generally a happy person :P

Favorite music?

 My favourite bands are La Dispute, Balance and Composure, and Memphis May Fire. However, my music tastes varies. The only things I can't get into are pop or country. And, uh, death metal is a definite no ._.

Food?

 Yeah, I can't choose. xD I like too many things!

What are your hobbies? 

 Reading and writing of course, but I also do editing, baking, and teaching kids. (Sunday School thing. It's pretty fun sometimes).

Comments or votes?

 Comments. I love chatting with readers and seeing what they actually feel about the story. It also gives me ideas on what to do next. Though a vote never hurts anybody c;

Coke or pepsi? 

 Neither? If I really HAD to choose, I guess Coke.

Friends on Wattpad?

Oh, I'd rather not answer this. I'll become distracted listing them xD 

Any sneak peeks or previews of your stories? 

Hm...I guess I can show a little paragraph of the new version of Across Acheron, which is going to be published:

"Listen, son. The only thing holding you back is yourself. Don’t go off blaming everyone else for something you can fix. Who cares if you’re nothing good? There are plenty of no good characters around the world, but they’re getting by. It’s up to you to pick yourself up and keep moving.
