Y/N POV-

Eeeee! I was so happy he had accepted my request to become friends! A lot of people I meet think I have many friends since I'm quite known through this place, but I really don't..I never grew up with them either, always 'too nice' for my own good, people thought it was creepy...anyways..

We sat and talked for quite a bit, I got to learn that he likes to sing, he actually doesn't smoke 24/7, and he actually has...eyes...I don't know why I thought he didn't..

Garcello is a really nice guy too, he wanted to share everything with me, and make sure I was fed just like him. But I refused all his offers, and the though I felt guilty about doing that, I had food at home. And I didn't want to take his, it was his for a reason!

Surprisingly too, he didn't offer me a cigarette, maybe it's because I don't really look like the type of person to smoke...which I'm not. But it was still surprising, especially since he wanted to share everything.

Our first meeting, was awesome!

Sadly the day went by pretty quickly, but it was fun. Plus, there's always tomorrow. I'll probably visit so letting him know would be a good idea.

"Oh, Garcello, before I go...I guess I should probably let you know I'll be visiting again tomorrow! Since we're friends now that is, we should get to know each other well, and hangout! That's what friends do...r-right..?"

Man...I really am unsure about the end of that sentence. Honestly, I don't know what friends do- like I've said, I've never really had any. But, now that I have one, might as well make the best of it!

I waved him goodbye before setting off and going home. It was quite the long day but it's almost as if it flew by. Is that what having that much fun feels like? Guess so!

I opened my door to my home, and threw all my belongings on a small couch I had, and then went straight to my bed and plopped down with all my weight. I felt very relaxed at that point, my bed was so soft and squishy, and I guess I was so comfortable, I fell straight asleep.

Garcello's POV-
Y/N, she's such a weird person...In a good way though. She's different than most. Especially toward me but I guess she's just that way, normally if someone saw me they'd cover their children's eyes or go the opposite direction. I was really the only homeless guy to wander around this town so, they felt disgusted I guess. But her, she treated me differently than most, she helped me out, I even offered her some of the stuff she's brought to give to me. But she just kept pushing it away.

"I have plenty at home Garcello, this stuff is for you! It'd be hypocritical to take back what was once given to someone." Is what she said to me, than in return gave a generous smile.

I just nodded at what she said and felt a bit guilty for eating the food she had brought me now. I also figured if she was that way with normal things, offering her something of mine wouldn't be the best idea. Plus, she doesn't look like the type to smoke.

She spoke quite a bit to me that day. Told me quite a bit about herself. Including details that I could make out of my own since I had two working eyes.

But one thing she told me stood out to me, and my brain itself.

She told me she had no one except her father growing up. She told me everything about him too. This started after I had asked her how many friends she had and how her family must be so lucky to have someone like her.

"W-Well...it's not actually like that. I...never have had friends, especially not growing up. Nor did I really have a good family. My mother and father hooked up from what I know and I was an accidental pregnancy. My mother was going to put me up for adoption but my father insisted that he'd take me instead. With that choice he would never see my mother again, nor her family, and he wouldn't get to see his. It would be only him and I living and growing together. He passed away quite young though, in his 40's. So it's been me all by myself these past couple of years..."

I felt really sympathetic and sorry for her, she looked like she could burst into tears at any moment. But, she didn't and kept her posture.

"But, that's all over now! And plus, I had a great time with my father. He raised me well."

I could've sworn I saw at least a year roll down her face, but I could've been wrong, it was hot that day, so it might've been sweat.

"If you don't mind me asking Y/N, how'd your father pass..?"

I didn't want to pry too much, but I figured I'd know just a bit more.

"Well, funny thing. You remind me of him quite a bit, with how quite you are and that you smoke. You're polite as well. He passed away of lung cancer due to him smoking, though. He shortened his life a bit, from what I know. He had bronchiole problems when he was a kid, making his lungs pretty weak already. So, smoking eventually caught up to him and worsened his life a bit more."

"...."
"I'm really sorry about that...I pay my condolences to you.."

I felt really sorry for her. It must've been hard for her growing up. But, she's strong and has gotten passed it quite well.

Although, aside from that heartfelt moment of ours, we had quite the day. We talked to each other and got to know one another a bit better. But, it's as if the day never happened. It went by really quickly, almost too quickly in my opinion.

Though, when she left, I did feel a bit lonely. And I haven't felt that way in a long time. But alas, the day had ended and I was pretty exhausted. That's the most I've done in the past couple of years.

I made my 'bed' and covered myself with my jacket and blanket, and went to sleep.
