Theo's POV

"Liam, it's time for school"

"Nooo Theo! I want to sleep"

My mom called from downstairs, "Boys! Get downstairs before I make you!"

Liam sprung up from bed nearly knocking me out. We both ran around the room grabbing clothes and changing. We sped down the steps to eat breakfast.

"So you boys are sharing a room now?"

I hadn't realized it was Wednesday until she spoke. I should have been in my room for three days now. Well, I like sleeping with Liam better.

"N- no, Theo um gets these uh um nnnn-" he looked around for an answer, "nightmares and he just got used to me helping him over the weekend"

"Oh honey, well isn't that sweet? Ok, just try and stay in your own room sometime Theo, the nightmares may go away after awhile"

"Yes Mrs. Greyer"

Liam pouted, "Well time for school you two" She sent us out the door, "and we'll talk about you two skipping yesterday later!"

"That's not going to be a good conversation"

"Yeah, I love your mom li, but she is terrifying"

"Tell me about it"

We laughed as we hopped in my truck and headed to school. Upon arrival we met up with Corey and Mason and walked to class. Liam with Corey and I with Mason.

"So you and Liam huh?"

"Yeah"

"I always knew you two would end up together! Now we are the perfect group. We can hangout and go on double dates and play team games and have sleepovers-"

"Woah Mason, take a breath" I laughed, "We can do all of that eventually, right now I'm still trying to get used to having a relationship"

"How so?"

"Well, you saw we are at the point of hooking up"

"Definitely saw that" he laughed loudly.

"But I want to make sure that we have a good relationship all around. Liam and I like each other, we cuddle, we kiss, we drive around together, but we still haven't had a proper first date. You know?"

"Yeah I understand. Corey and I have always known we liked each other but with the packs fighting, then the ghost riders and the hunters, we didn't have time for a proper date until at least nine months into our relationship"

"See you understand. I never thought I'd say this Mason, but I'm glad we became friends. It's good to have someone who understands me"

"Liam doesn't?"

"Of course he does, just not like this. He had a relationship with Hayden obviously, after that I heard of a fling with Brett, but I never even thought I would have a relationship, let alone a boyfriend"

"What do you mean?"

"With the dread doctors hope was crushed and so was anything else positive. The only thing they wanted from me was power. I didn't have Halloween, thanksgiving, Christmas. No birthday or school or friends. So the fact that I am lucky enough to have a boyfriend still surprises me every day. And with this chance, I want to make sure I do it right. Dates, double dates, hanging out with friends, going to parties. Even the little things like cheek kisses and holding hands, I just want to make sure I do right by Liam and enjoy the relationship" I turned to Mason.

"Are you- crying?"

"Theo" Mason turned and hugged me, "if the pack had only known you didn't have any opportunities to live life"

"It's ok Mason, I have you, Corey, and Liam. That's enough for me"

"I'm so sorry we didn't help you. I wish we had known"

"The past is in the past, now I want to do right by Liam and have great times with you guys!"

Mason finally let go right before we walked into class, "let's hang out all together later"

"Sure, we need to get Liam and Corey on board"

"After class"

I never thought I would like Mason so much, but it turns out he is a really good friend.

Update time,

We will be going back to Liam next chapter to talk about this purple eye situation. I just wanted to show Theo's sensitive side that he hides so well. Mason was just the perfect person to talk to.
