Kehlani's POV: Its been a week since we started school and "that" thing happened with me and y/n. Ive been a lil distant from her cause of what she said, Me, jay, alex, and y/n still hang out as a group tho i jus don't really make conversation with her. It honestly did hurt me and im still confused on my feelings for her. Idek if i have any for her. Ive jus never felt this way for anyone. "Kehlani ik u upset with her but just invite her maybe you can change and fix that?" Says jay. "What am i pose to change and fix tho, tell her im not talking to her cuz i was hurt by what she said?! No.". "I honestly think u actually like her Kehlani, if it hurt u that she said that then thats cuz u feel something for her and it hurts u that she dont feel the same..." jay tells me. I honestly think she's right, but ofc im not gonna say that cause its all so confusing to me. I dont date so idk what to do. "I dont jay so jus drop it" i say. "Alr then..." is all she respons.
We're all sitting at our table during lunch. "Y/n tryna go to a party later with me and alex?" Says jay. I look straight at her, she smirks at me knowing I didn't want her to do that. "Sure, who's is it?" She asks. "Oh um its this one girls party idk if u know her but jus come with us she said we can bring anyone with us". fuckn lyin ass "she" did not say that. "Alr then" y/n says. "Ayy jay imma go to the bathroom ill be back" i say. I stand up and start heading to the restroom. As I finish using the bathroom i wash my hands. I hear some one walk in and i look up to see that its y/n. "Can i ask u something Kehlani?" She asks. "Yea whats up" i say plainly. "Are u mad at me?". Yea i am. "No." I start walking but she stops me again. "Kehlani if u mad at me jus say that, i jus wanna know yes or no. If u are can u tell me why?" She says. "Im not y/n" i say with a lil attitude. " yea ok, yk what im not even gon trip u dont wanna tell me why then whatever im not gon waste time on u" she says and jus walks away.
Y/n's POV Why she acting like That tho I didn't do nothing to her. She's been acting weird since,literally the first day of school like bruhh, she's gonna try and have me hang with her then act all mad after. But its ok ig im still friends with alex and have gotten closer with jay. Ig me and jay are also friends she's a really funny and chill person. AJ has actually tried to text me and im confused on how tf she got my number but I swear since that day she hasn't left me alone I really thought she was gonna stop but nooo. I didn't tell any of them that AJ tries to say shii to me cuz 1, alex is like a brother to me ever since we met. We always kept im contact during the summer and always hung out. He is actually very over protective with me and im not gonna complain cause I've always wanted a big brother and he is like a brother to me. 2 he will actually go tell her something and im not even tryna see her rn so i dont want them to start arguing or whatever, and 3 i jus dont feel like telling them. I sit back down at the table.
Its the end if the school day and im walking out with alex and jay. "Me and alex will pick u up at 5:30 for the party alr, jus send me ur address". Says jay. "No its ok ill tell u where she live but jus be ready y/n cuz we not tryna be late" says alex. "Alrr i got u" i say. "Alrr byee y/n bye alex". We both say bye and alex starts to walk me home. He always walks me home then he goes home, cause he only live like 5 mins away not to far. As we're walking jay starts to talk "why is Kehlani upset with u she hasn't really said anything to u these past days or week?". "Im not sure but i could careless..." i say. But truth is I really wanna know why she's mad. I didn't do shii to her and she starts to act this way for what?!?. We arrive at my house and i hug him and we say bye to each other. Im working on "our" project that me and Kehlani were assigned but we haven't worked on it together so idk how we gonna finish this she hasn't answered my texts asking her if we're gonna work on itso im doing it myself. It's almost time for them to pick me up so i start to get ready. I put on a cute black dress for the party cuz yk gotta look cute.

30 mins later my phone gets a notification from alex saying he's in the front. I text him alright and start to head over to them. I open the car door and say hey to them. "Damnnn u loook goood y/n" jay says. "Thank u, so do u" i say back. "U look really pretty y/n" says Alex. "Thank u u do aswell". As jay is driving to our destination she starts to talk. "Y/n i lied about who's party it was...". "What do u mean?" I ask confused. "It's Kehlani's party at her house, but wait! before u say anything let me explain. Ik kehlani is upset with u and whatever but i jus-" "its fine jay u dont gotta explain..." i cut her off. I was a lil upset she did that cuz now its gonna be awkward but ig she did it with good intentions. "U sure cuz if u realldont wanna go i can take u home or something?..." she continues. "I jus got all done up for nothing? No im going to the party" i say laughing, alex joins aswell. We arrive and get out the car. We start to head into Kehlani's house and i see hella people from the school. See look ik she's the "popular girl" in school and all but half of these people aren't even from the school. How does she know hella peopleee?!? I was walking next to alex and feel pairs of eyes jus staring at me from the side. I look over and see that its Kehlani who's jus dead staring at me, looking me up and down. I jus ignore her and continue to follow alex cuz jay made her way to Kehlani. Me and alex grab drinks and take 1 to jay. Alex handshakes Kehlani and says hi to her and she says it back. Kehlani looks at me and says hi and reaches her hand out. I jus say hey and ignored her hand she wanted me to shake . Really?! She tryna shake my hand and talk to me now bye. "Hey look im srry about earlier can we jus talk about it later tho?.." she whispers to me. I look at her with a "are u dumb" look "no, im pretty sure thats what i tried to do earlier in school but u didn't want to talk so no im good" i say and turn away from her looking at the crowd. She only wants to do things her way or whenever she wants it's annoying.
