After I Met You

Quest of Journey

I looked at Y/N as she stood at the deck, all I could see was her eyes glistening from the sunlight. I could feel my heartbeat going from one through ten. With all the courage and strength that I had inside of me, I walked towards her. Both of us still couldn't tell what we were but I guess it was a strange feeling that started once we met each other.  

"Thank you," I said as a crew member gave me a cup of water 

"Y/N," I said standing beside her 

"Oh... Edmund!" she said frightened 

"Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you" I chuckled 

"It's alright, my dear." I looked at her in her never-ending (any color) eyes.

"It's beautiful, isn't it?" Y/N looked at the ocean feeling the wind blowing in her hair.

"Yes, it is," I said with a shaky voice. I looked at her as she looked back at me smiling nervously. I slowly grabbed her hand just enjoying the view. Y/N's hand felt warm and light, just like a feather. She instantly laid her head on my shoulder as I wrapped my arm around her. 

My heartbeat was still beating fast just from being near Y/N. I then got behind her wrapping my arms around her. I felt her head leaned against my chest, relaxing her body, Y/N took my hands on hers as we slowly interlocked our fingers together. 

What is happening to me?

With the ship moving, the night appeared under the stars. Everyone was eating, but I couldn't see Y/N. 

"Where's Y/N? I asked Lucy.

Lucy looked at me after swallowing her food. " I think she's at the deck. I figured that's her favorite spot." she chuckles lightly.

I kissed my sister's forehead as I excused myself from the room with everyone bowing to me as I left the room. I made my way to the deck, looking around I didn't spot Y/N anywhere. The wind was warm enough to blow against my dark brown hair. I tried to look around her favorite spot, but there was no one over here.

Really, Lucy. This is bullshit right now.

Out of nowhere, I saw someone standing at the edge of the deck looking at the ocean.  I see her wearing her light blue formal dress with her almost wet curly hair on her back. 

"Y/N? Is that you over there, my dear?" 

She turned around and slowly looked at me in the eyes with her face glowing with the moonlight shining on her face. My. Heart. Stopped. It just stopped... I tried to collect myself around, but I just started to stumble on my words. I feel these butterflies in my stomach and this feeling is such adrenaline that rushes through my face. My face was turning into the color red. I walked towards her so nervously. My brain wasn't thinking clearly.

Y/N asked. "Edmund, are you alright?"

I stared at her in silence. When I was looking at every inch of her body and then meeting her gaze. Stopping in front of her, I took her hands in mine not saying anything, and just held her there. She looked at me quite nervous, her body started to lean against mine and she began to shiver. 

"Sorry," she said as she looked down the deck floor. 

"It's alright, sweetheart. But... are you cold?" I asked.

I look at her with a worrisome expression on my face as she nods at my question.

"Here..." I took off my warm cape to give it to Y/N. Y/N look at me then took it off of herself.
