Jason
Monday's are the worst days of the week. I hate the fact that we have to wake up early and its the start of a long week. There is also another reason why I hate today, tonight is the night that Justin will meet my parents. To say I wasn't nervous would be a big lie, I was scared out of my mind. I don't want my family to hate Justin. I liked him and I want them to like him too, but with my stubborn father that won't happen anytime soon. As long as they think that Justin is rich, we would be fine. Well I hope we would. Ever since Justin and I kissed, I haven't stopped thinking about him. How his perfect lips felt in mine and they way they moved in sync was breathtaking. I felt a spark whenever I was close to him. I want to ask him out on a date, but I don't know if he would agree to it or not. I'm scared he'll say no. "Jason, whats wrong?" I snapped out of my thoughts when Ryan sat next to me. We were currently in English class and the teacher doesn't really care if we talk or not. "Nothing just thinking." I replied to him. He gave me a reassuring smile and spoke,"you know if you want to talk I'm here for you, right?" I sighed and said I'll tell him at lunch. He nodded his head and we were quiet after that.

"What!!" Ryan screamed and everyone in the cafeteria was staring at us like we were from some other planet. My face was all red from them staring, but eventually they went back to what they were doing. I finished explaining everything to him about meeting Justin and how my parents want to meet him. I slapped Ryan's arm. "Shut up! Your causing a scene!" I hissed at him. He rubbed his arm. "Sorry, but I was not expecting that to happen. So what are you going to do about your father? You know how strict he is and your mom is always so protective of you and Abby. She'll never let you out of the house if she finds out Justin's poor!" He exclaimed. "I honestly don't know what I'm going to do. I really like Justin, but if my parents don't then I can't see him anymore." "I'm sure you'll be alright. As long as your dad doesn't find out." "Yeah I know."

After school, I drove to the mall so I can pick up some clothes for Justin to wear. Not that I mind what he wears, but I want my mom and dad to believe that Justin is rich. So that means to wear new clothes. I'm also thinking of getting Justin a phone, since he doesn't have one and I really want to keep in contact with him. I walk into a store and see what clothes Justin would like. I had no problem with finding his size because I borrowed his clothes and they were the same as mine, just a bit smaller than me. I picked out black pants, a white button down shirt, and black vans. I smiled at my achievement and went to pay. After I paid, I bought a gold iPhone 6 with his name engraved on the back of it. I can't wait to see his face when he sees what I got him. When I told him my parents wanted to meet him, his eyes went wide as tennis balls and tried to cover up his nervousness, but it was impossible. He looked so cute when he was nervous.

I drove to where the fence is and parked on the side of the road. I got out with the bags for Justin and crawled underneath the fence with no problem. I walk to his house and you can say I go to his house to see him constantly. It's like an everyday thing for me. When I reach his house I knock on the door and Justin answers it with a look of happiness to see me. I put down the bags and open my arms big and he jumps in my arms for a hug. I chuckle at his reaction and hug back. Justin pulls away and let's me in the house. "What's in the bag?" He asked and I handed him the clothes. "Jason! You didn't have to get me these!" See what I told you, he is so stubborn and won't accept gifts. "Justin I wanted to get you these and I never gave you clothes I borrowed back anyways." I shrug my shoulders and he gives me another hug as in saying thank you. "Oh and there is another thing I got you." I give him the phone and a look of excitement fills his eyes. I know he wanted a phone for awhile now, I mean every teenager has one and its difficult for him to get one since he can't even afford food. "Jason, I don't even know what to say!" "You don't have to say anything, but you do owe me a kiss." I smirk and he rolled is eyes playfully and gives me a kiss on the lips. He was going to pull away, but I pulled him closer not wanting it to end. I moved my lips with his and tilted my head to make the kiss deeper. I loved the way his felt on mine. I don't want to rush into anything just yet or until we go on a date so I pull away from the kiss. I looked in his chocolate color eyes and never looked away. "Jason do I have to meet your parents?" He shyly asked and I sighed. "Yeah Justin. I know your nervous, hell I'm even nervous, but I promise you that everything will be okay." I reassured him and he nodded. "So go put on your clothes, I want to see how they look." I said and he went to change. It's like 6:30 pm and we have to be there for dinner at my house for 7. I'm currently freaking out in the inside, but I don't want to worry Justin more than he is so I try to keep calm.

Justin came downstairs and he looked amazing. I couldn't keep my eyes off of him for a second. "You look beautiful Justin." I said and he looked away blushing. I smile that I made him blush and we head out the door. We walked to the fence and went on the other side. My car was parked on the side and I opened the door for him and he couldn't stop blushing. There was a comfortable silence all the way to my house. I think we both were too worried to speak. When got to my house, I grabbed his hang and gave him a reassuring smile before opening the door to be greeted by my family. My mom was the first to speak. "Well hello my name is Pattie. It's nice to meet Jason's friend that he constantly talks about." My face turned red and I gave her a look that said 'don't embarrass me' and she just smiled. This is going to be a long night. "Hello Pattie, my name is Justin." He introduced himself. Next it was my dad. "Hello I'm Jeremy, it's nice to meet you." Justin looked like he was shitting himself right now and I just wanted to hug him. My dad was so much bigger than Justin and more intimidating. "Hello sir, it's nice to meet you too." He replied and my mom spoke. "Come on everyone lets go eat." We went in the dinning room and Justin sat between Abby and I. At that moment, I felt so bad for him. He had to sit by a chatterbox Abby.

It's been about 5 minutes and I bit my lip so I wouldn't burst out laughing. I told Justin before that my sister won't shut up no matter how many times you tell her and all Justin said was 'I'm sure she's not that bad' and 'your overreacting' but now he looks like he takes it all back. Since he is sitting next to Abby, she is talking to him about some Barbie that she wants and keeps going on and on about it. His face looks like he doesn't know what to say and it is hilarious. "And the Barbie has all of these outfits and ev-" "Abby we are supposed to be getting to know Justin not talking about a Barbie." My dad said and surprisingly, she shut up. Justin looked relieved that she stopped talking his ear off, but scared since everyone was now looking at him. "So Justin, do you go to school at all?" My father asked and I felt so bad for him because he is going to get loads of questions thrown at him. "Yes I am currently doing an online schooling." "Oh that's nice. So does your parents work?" I knew Justin was hesitant about answering since it's only him and his dad. "Um...yeah my dad repairs cars at a shop." I saw something in my dad's eyes and I could tell he was impressed. I mentally sighed in relief. "What about you mother?" "My mom died years ago." Now it was my moms turn to react to what he was saying. "Oh my gosh I'm so sorry!" She said. The rest of the dinner was small talk and everything was going good.

There was a knock on the door and my mom went to answer it. Everyone stopped talking once they heard someone screaming. "I'm telling you Pattie, I'm going to find out who did this!!" I recognized the voice to be Mrs. Tompkins and I froze. Justin is the one who stole food from her house and she would know it's him since she has a video of the whole thing. "Mrs. Tompkins I'm telling you to go home and drop it already!" My mom said, obviously angry. "This person is going to pay for what they have done and will be punished!" "Can you leave? My son has a friend over and I don't want to argue while he is here." I saw Mrs. Tompkins peek around the corner and glanced at Justin. We both held our breathes and I held his hand, out of nervousness. She pointed a finger at Justin. "I know you!" His eyes got huge and looked like he was going to pass out any second. I should've known this was a terrible idea. Before anything else happened, my mom pulled Mrs. Tompkins out of the house and closed the door in her face. My mom walked back over to the table. "I'm sorry about that Justin, she had an incident at her house and comes over here mostly everyday to complain. I don't know who stole from her, but whoever did it I wish them the best of luck because they won't hear the last of it from her." "I-it's okay Pattie." His voice was shaking.

After I told my family that Justin had to leave they said good bye and we left. We were currently walking to the fence and no one said anything. To be honest, I was scared to say something. I didn't want to upset him more than he already is and then Justin spoke up. "Jason do you think that this whole separation will stop?" He caught me off guard by his question and I didn't know what to say. Will it stop? I hope it will one day. "Well I think it will one day. Maybe not today, tomorrow, or even a month from now, but I have hope that people will come to their senses and see that poor people are still human and they have a right to live life the way they want to." We reached the fence and he kissed my cheek. "I had a good time." "Really? You had fun being the center of attention and having a thousand questions thrown at you?" He shrugged and nodded. "Yeah as long as you were there with me I didn't care." I gave him a quick peck on the lips before he went under the fence and started his way home.
