"You guys think it's easy to maintain such a huge business!" he yelled and rushed out of the room banging the files on the table and headed towards his cabin. And it was quite obvious. One of the most important projects for his business got ruined due to a group of indisciplined employs. He was working day in and day out for last two months just to see the success of this project. But all he could see is vain. Personally this project for him was not two month's effort, but of four years of hardwork.
Aniruddh Malhotra, this is not just a name, it's a brand in the world of textiles industry. For last four years he has been among the top two best industrialists. And the best part is that he is in such a stage of life without any godfather or financial strength.
He belonged from a middle class family, or rather a poor family. Yes, it's true. His life was just the contrast of what's now before four years. His life was not less tragic than any Shakespearean Era's drama. He was born to a middle class family but after losing his parents in a car accident, he fell into a financial crisis. A ten years old boy with two twin sisters of six years got wiped out by a sudden wave of financial instability. Aniruddh was a brilliant student but had to leave his school for providing atleast one meal to his sisters. He started working in a shop and started selling clothes. Wearing ragged shirt and a short pant. They were kicked out of their two storey house for not being able to pay it's rent. Hence, his all belongings were left behind in that house along with all their memories. And Aniruddh, who in present time, lives in a four storey big mansion, one, who is the owner of minimum six other houses which is not less that a mini mansion, started living in a small hut of a slum.
From this shop he started gaining knowledge about different types of fabrics. Along with this job, he started to work in a part time job because he wanted to fulfil his dream of being educated through his sisters. He wanted them to get educated. Hence, he started working in the shop in the morning and from evening, he started to work as an assistant in a library. He studied till class five, hence, knew to read the names of the books. Therefore, he didn't face any difficulty in doing this job.
But how did assistant and shop keeper Aniruddh turned into one of the best industrialists- Aniruddh Malhotra? With love and patience, nothing is impossible.
But at present Aniruddh's patience turned into a volcanic eruption. No one was being able to calm him. His assistant Malini offered him a cup of coffee. He grabbed the cup of coffee and rushed back to the meeting room. He then tried to gain his calmness back and started to take deep breathes in and out.
"So, what's next? What do you all feel that we can do so that we can get back the trust of Mr. Mangesh?" he questioned his employees.
"Sir, I think that you should invite him to your house and then persuade him." said one of the employees with a tone of hesitation.
"Your voice tone says it all Maya. He is neither a relative of mine nor an emerging industrialist. He is THE Pratap Kumar Mangesh. After waiting for two months we got his appointment and what we got as a return gift? FAIL. We didn't even get the opportunity to show our presentation.
I could even accept this failure if the justification of the excuse could match the importance of this project. Forgot the pendrive at home! Really Somain? I am not your class teacher asking for your homework that you are giving such an excuse. And Urvi, backup files are always required in emergency cases. And emergency situations DOESN'T appear by knocking the door. You should have, no, you MUST have carried the backup along with you. What a shame! India's one of the top textile industries failed to show the presentation because of their absent minded employees. So, what should we do now?"
*There was nothing else in the room except silence*
After waiting for a couple of hours Aniruddh said, " What? Decide fast. I have more projects to look after."
*He waited for five more minutes. Nobody even dared to move even an inch.*
"Okay times up. Seven days of the week will be a working day for each and everyone involved in this project. And yes, for two months. Now you all may start your respective work."
And he rushes out.
