A New Friend

        I started to walk home alone ever since Lily started dating John (John for short for Johnathan). What did I do to deserve this. I opened the door to my apartment, went in my room, threw my bag to the wall and just plopped on my bed. "Im lonely again" I said  mumbling starting to cry in my pillow. I slept after crying for a few minuets. I woke up and it was 5:30. Maybe ill just do my home work. I got my book bag from the wall and took out my home work. I did all of them under 2 hours. Great nothing else to do. I got up from my room and went to the living room to watch some T.V. THERE IS NOTHING GOOD ON T.V. I NEED SOME ONE. I felt even more lonely. Usually me and Lily and me would go out to the mall or just have walks at the park. I miss Lily...But I cant just bother her, she must be with John. My door bell rang. I jumped up and wondered who that was. LILY?! I got off my couch and ran to the door. I opened it and said "Listen Li-...I mean hello" I said staring at the man at my door who i thought was Lily. "Hi I am you new neighbor. I just moved in a few days ago and I just wanted to greet myself. My name is Luke Ryans" Luke said formally. "Paige Ashers" I said shaking his hand. "Here this is for you I hope you like it" Luke said handing me a big slice of cake. "Oh wow thanks, did you bake this?" (I really dont like saying "I said" and all that so you know who saying who) "Yeah I did, I love to cook and bake" "Hey,why wont you come in ill make some tea and we can talk" I said with a smile. I put Luke on the couch and i went to the kitchen to make some tea. Luke is really cute and loves to cook! 

        I took the tea and put it on the table in front of us. We started to chat and got to know another more. "I moved here from New York so i can go to California University" "Oh that's cool and I go to California University too!" "That's amazing! My first friend" Luke said with the biggest smile. "Ill be back" Luke said going to his house. He came back with his schedule. "Look these are the classes I got" Luke said handing me the paper. "Wow these are my classes too". A friend who will be with me....I hope it will last forever. "That means we can walk to school together and walk home together too" Luke said in a happy mood. Luke took a sip of his tea and i did too. "This tea is very nice, thanks" Luke said taking more sips from the tea. I went up and got the cake Luke gave me in the kitchen. I went back to the couch. "Lets see if this cake is good" I said raising a eyebrow. I took a bite. "Oh my god! This is the best cake, I cant even explain how good this is. Its like biting a rainbow!" I said as we both laughed. "Thanks" Luke said. I ate the rest of the cake and made the biggest burp for the day. "Excuse me" I said putting my hand over my mouth. Luke just started laughing. "Hey listen you can act the way you want with me so you don't have to be formal. We are friends now you know" Luke said getting up. Friends. "Well I gotta get going its already 8:30 and i gotta unpack a few things" Luke said walking to the door. "AWWWWW, stay longerrrrrrrrr" I said extending my words to make him stay. "Sorryzz, oh and make sure you walk me school, because i dont like walking alone, knock at my door when your ready!" Luke said leaving my apartment. I waved bye. I wish he would stay longer. He isnt a bad guy from my perspective. I got up to brush my teeth and go to sleep . Once I finished brushing my teeth I couldn't wait till I see him again. I want to see his hazel eyes and his tall self again. Also his messy hair. Luke has a great personality especially. I jumped into bed and couldn't wait till morning.
