Closer Together

        I got inside my apartment and went straight to the showers to wash off the food all over me. I put my cloths in the hamper and went in the shower. Luke just asked me out to coffee! IM SO EXCITED. Well he didn't really ask me out this is just for hanging out. BUT HE MIGHT ASK ME OUT TO A DATE. I wish. I let out a sigh and continued to scrub myself down. I got out the shower and got into sweat pants and a random shirt.

I walked out in slippers and Luke just got out too. Looks like he is bumming it like me. I chuckled a little. He was wearing sweat pants and a shirt too. "Lets get going" Luke said. I followed him to the cafe down the block. Its called Moon Light. We went in and saw how beautiful it was. How come i never had been here even its down the block. Ugh. It had a reassuring atmosphere. It felt really nice. The smell of coffee. Also, moonlit lights. Its a really relaxing place. We took a seat at a table for only 2. A waitress came and asked us what would we like. I asked for a tea instead of coffee.

Luke got the same as me. Same taste i guess. The waitress gave Luke a wink before she left. I will fucking kill her. Wait why do I care? "You alright there" Luke said to me smiling. "Sorry just got lost in thoughts" I instantly said back. What is going on with me. Why do I care about this.

                                                                                     *MONTHS LATER*

        Today is the last day until summer vacation. In our University I get off because I am going for internships next year. Next year is my last year and I get my masters. I cant wait. The bell rang in my ears. Time for next class. I saw Luke waiting by the door for me. I walked over and got Luke and went to lunch. "Hey why wont we just go out to In and Out this time" Luke suggested. "Tooooooo faaaaarrrr" I said extending my words like a child. "Fiiiiinnnneeeee" Luke said mimicking me. We got to the cafeteria and got some sandwiches. We sat down in our usual table for 2.

"So whats your summer plans?" Luke asked me. "I honestly do not know" I said with a chuckle. "PAAAAAIIIIGGGEEE" I herd someone yell. The persons voice sounded really familiar. I turned around and saw Lily. "Lily?" I said really surprised. "Paige please forgive me!" I herd her say. "For?" I asked back. "I haven't been hanging around with you at all, your my bestestfriend the whole world. John introduced me to some friends and I have been hanging out with them for a long time, and...and Im just so sorry, im a real idiot" Lily said in the most sincere voice ever.

"Its fine Lily I understand" I said. Im not mad. She just was blinded by love. And trust me love can blind you. "To make up for this I got tickets to go to the Bahamas for the whole summer. My mom has a Villa there and me, you, and John are going there!"  Lily said in excitement while giving me a plane ticket. "Thats great but" I looked over at Luke. He looked sad. Was he hoping to spend the summer with...me? Paige Ashers, YOU CAN NEVER LEAVE A FRIEND. "Sorry Lily but I gotta refuse" I said handing back the ticket. "What why?" Lily said in sadness. "If Luke cant go Im not going" I said back. "Hmmmmmmmmm" Lily said giving me a stair.

"Ugh,,,,Fine i will get another ticket for Luke ok" Lily said cheering up. "Thank you lots but, can I pay for my own?" Luke asked. "Ha Nope, if Paige knows you I gotta help her, I MEAN I gotta take you too. You know your very special, its rare to make friends with this abnormal girl" Lily said making them laugh. "Oh hush Lil" I said jokingly. "Ok, Ill give you your ticket tomorrow, whats your address?" Lily asked. (IDK ADDRESSES SO PRETEND HE GAVE HER A ADDRESS) "Wait your neighbors with Paige" Lily said raising an eyebrow. "Yeah we hang out and do stuff" Luke said. "WHAT?!" Lily yelled. "NOT THAT WAY YOU STUPID" I yelled at Lily.

Luke bursted laughing causing us to laugh too. "Anyways I will drop off your ticket at your house ok?" Lily said. Luke nodded. The bell rang and we parted from Lily. Me and Luke finished all of our classes. We walked home and chatted. "So when are we leaving?" Luke asked. "2 weeks from now" I said back. "Im excited Paige, I get to be with my close friend and Ill make new ones too" "Aw thats cute" "Ha sureeeeee". We arrived home. "Well I gotta get packing" I smiled at Luke. "Me too" he smiled back. 

                                                        *DAY OF THE TRIP*

        I was banging on Luke's door yelling "LETS GO THE CAB IS HERE!". Luke finally opens the door and he was holding a lot of baggage like me. We went to the lobby and got to the cab. We told the driver to go to the airport. We arrived at the airport and took out our luggage out of the cab. We ran to the plane ride because we were a little late. We boarded in  the plane just in time. We put our luggage in the compartment thingy. We got window seats and sat down. Once we got into our seats we were dying of laughter. You know this is going to be a amazing trip.
