AN ETHEREAL BOY CLAD IN HIS SCHOOL UNIFORM LEANED ON THE RICKETY FENCE, a row of rotting fence posts that segregated the male from the roaring ocean at the foot of the ledge, listlessly.
With its incorporeal wisps that helped birds fly into the neverending, untouchable skies above him, the saline breeze rippled, ruffling the male's tresses into a haphazard yet beautiful mess. He breathed in, revelling in the clean air that seemed to carry away the stress weighing on his shoulders.
Alas, the elegant man was not alone, and in ran a faintly panting boy with rugged yet devilish features, his hair sloppily sticking to his sweaty forehead, but this did not detract from his attractiveness.
"(M/Name)! You're here again?! C'mon, the others are waiting for you, man!" The boy yelled in a baritone voice that was unusual for a junior student.
The augustness across from him in the form of his friend, (M/Name), who was adorned in the amber hues cast by the evening sun, with lumps of feathery clouds in tones of lilacs, pinks, and blues softening the blasting rays, was horribly disrupted by his abrasive voice.
He almost felt bad for doing so. Almost.
But (M/Name), who remained motionless and stoically gazing at the quaint view, kept silent. He didn't respond either because he didn't hear his friend or because he didn't want to.
"Hey, (M/Name)? Are you ok? Oi!" The teenage boy approached (M/Name) and placed a calloused hand on his friend's shoulder, shaking it tenderly.
Silence is what he was met again from his friend, who didn't dare to break eye contact from the timeless elegance of his surroundings. The boy didn't open his mouth this time, fearing that his pestering inquiries would aggravate his undeniably attractive companion.
"Yeah..."
He finally got an airy and sinewy response from the boy he'd been calling out to, and it came out eloquently in a sense. It was so low key that it would have gone unnoticed if it hadn't been for the wind carrying his voice towards him.
"That's good but we really ought to go. If we don't leave now, we're gonna be late for our graduation and our friends are waiting for us. Mostly you, though..." He whispered the last bit.
"Sorry, Ecklies... I couldn't...pass up to view...the sea one last time..." (M/Name) spoke slowly, seemingly in a trance.
"It's fine, don't worry 'bout it! But less talkin', more walkin'!" The equally good-looking, rugged boy, Ecklies, grabbed (M/Name)'s wrist and tugged on it, nearly sending said boy toppling onto his broad back.
"You...don't have to...pull so...hard." (M/Name) chided him gently with no emotion.
"Sorry, sorry. I'll be more careful. Here—"
