NOW, (M/NAME) DID NOT EXPECT THIS; at one point, all he wanted to do was go to the gym and see his future teammates. But things only escalated from there, with a chance encounter with an intriguing duo who embodied the darkness and rising sun, followed by getting dragged into a three-on-three match. Which he had no prior knowledge of.

It's no surprise, what with someone like (M/Name), that he wants nothing more than to go home.

Right now, his seniors are conversing, but he can't really focus on what they're saying because he's growing sleepier by the minute. But he did notice his not-so-inconspicuous senpai making blatant passes behind him.

Clearing his throat rather obnoxiously, Tanaka subtly glanced at the barred window. "Uh!! So, we're training at seven tomorrow morning, right?"

'What is he up to? And why is he so close to the window-' A lightbulb suddenly lit up atop (M/Name)'s head. 'Oh. So, he's trying to help them out? Well, he needs to work on being discreet since I noticed.'

"Well yeah, but you already know that." Ennoshita pointed out.

"Well, erm... Uh." Tanaka stuttered, averting his blue-grey eyes from his teammates' probing looks. 'Shit! Think Tanaka, think!'

"Um... Who...would I be...working with?" (M/Name) intervened, covering Tanaka's blunder.

"Ah! Do you mean for the three-on-three match?" Daichi asked, his attention easily grabbed away from Tanaka's form.

At times like this, (M/Name) was pretty glad he could draw everyone's attention to him easily. But it irritates him most of the time, so Tanaka better do a good job at whatever he's doing or he'll regret ever aiding him.

And just like that, everyone's, except fo Sugawara, focus was expertly diverted away from the sweating Tanaka and directed onto the placid first-year. The grey-haired male sensed something was up with Tanaka, and (M/Name) seemed to notice and decide to save his skin.

But why, he thought.

Tanaka exhaled a breath of relief and silently thanked (M/Name) before turning to face the two other first-years outside and winking at them, completely unaware of the (e/c) orbs eyeing him from the corner of his eye.

'He seriously needs to be more discreet than this.' He sighed through his nose.

Checking his wrist watch, he decides it's about time he goes home and groggily excused himself from the gym with his shoulder bag slung on his left shoulder as he lazily waved goodbye to everyone before leaving. Walking out, he could still hear Tanaka wailing his goodbye's while Sugawara vainly tried to get him stop, and he only did when Daichi screamed at him.

"What a crazy day..." He sighed.

He finds the apartment after approximately ten minutes of walking, and he has never been happier in his life to see the little yet lovely flat. After climbing up the stairs and passing by a few door, he stopped in front of the door going inside to his and Ecklies' shared flat.

Before he could even reach the door handle, it was flung open, and before he could make sense of what was happening, he was pulled inside and smothered in a tight, warm hug.

"Waah!! (M/Name)! What took you so long?! I was getting worried, y'know?!? I thought you got kidnapped by your classmates, or some creep tried molesting you and I-!" Ecklies cried.

" Can't...br-breat..he..." (M/Name) punched the words out through the strangling arms on him, his gorgeous face going blue from oxygen deprivation.

"Ack! Sorry, sorry! I guess I don't know my own strength." Ecklies relaxed his grip on his friend's toned yet slender body, but did not release him from his embrace.
