HE DID END UP DOZING OFF A LITTLE IN BETWEEN PERIODS OF TEAM TRAINING, but he couldn't stop himself. He was physically exhausted, but not as much as he was psychologically. His classmates were a little too much for him; they were all highly spirited and inquisitive in their own ways, and while (M/Name) doesn't mind, it is a little much for him, especially on the first day of school.

Not that it was bad or anything, but they were crossing far too many lines for (M/Name) to feel completely at ease with them. That Yachi girl, he'll admit, was decent, aside from the odd glances and stammering she made. She was friendly and an endearing girl.

Presently, (M/Name) was helping Kiyoko in passing water bottles to the boys, making small conversations here and there with them, and he finds himself somewhat surprised with how laidback and relaxed they are from his old teammates.

A major difference from his previous team in the United Kingdom, not in terms of personality, but rather in terms of volume.

"Hey, Suga!!" Tanaka hollered.

Well, except Tanaka, that is. That guy can honestly become someone's personal alarm clock if he chooses to.

"I bet you those guys are gonna challenge us to let them in!" He assumed confidently.

"And I bet that you're right. But that's unnecessary, those guys just need to show that they regret their behaviour, then we might just let them in." Sugawara smiled, putting on his jacket and zipping it up.

'What did those two do for them to get kicked out in the first place..?' (M/Name) mulled over his thoughts, but something in his gut tells him he shouldn't ask.

He thought it was weird that those two were just waiting outside in the dark, and how did he know? It's simple, he's seen the ginger peeking through the barred windows a couple of times. In his mind, he can tell they are devoted to volleyball above all else, to the point where their brains appear to be bare apart from volleyball.

It was like that one meme Ecklies showed him, "No thoughts, head empty" except that their brains are not fully empty because of volleyball.

'Hmm... But that onyx-haired kid, why does he look familiar?'

"Hey, hey!! (M/Name), c'mere!" Interrupting his train of thought, Tanaka excitedly beckoned him with his usual giddiness. "Hm?" (M/Name) tepidly makes his way over to his eccentric, deviant senior, seeing how his and Sugawara's faces glow brightly as he comes closer.

"What is it, Tanaka–senpai?" He drawled.

Holding in his inner fanboy, Tanaka grinned widely that showed way too much teeth. "Do ya wanna know what those two gremlins did awhile ago?" He snickered.

"Trust me, you're going to die from laughing once you hear it!"

"Eh? You're going to tell him? How about we just move on from that already..." Sugawara casts a fleeting peek at their leader before swiftly averting his gaze from Daichi's lethal glare and ominous aura.

And everyone felt it, except for Tanaka and (M/Name).

'Tanaka, for my— I mean, our own safety, please don't tell him!' He prayed woefully.

'Or better yet, don't say yes, (M/Name)!! I beg of you!!'

Thankfully, it seems that the Gods decided to spare the poor teen.

"Um, no... I...don't really care." (M/Name) aired.

Sugawara kept a blank expression on his face as he nodded in agreement with (M/Name)'s remarks but he was screaming inside as he hailed the deities who had heard his plea.
