Jasin & Billie
Chapter 2: The Date
Part 1
I looked down and saw two concert tickets to Good Charlotte in Detroit. For a moment I stared, not sure what it meant. Opening my mouth, I couldn’t help the long shriek of, “AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!” from coming out. Good Charlotte just so happened to be one of my favorite bands ever. I’ve wanted to go to one of their concerts for as long as I can remember.
“Oh, my gosh, I can’t believe you got these, baby! How did you get these? And how long have you been hiding these from me?” I kissed him, not really caring about the answers to my questions.
Jasin grinned and scratched the back of his head, “I just got them today actually. Also, I figured a good dinner would be the perfect way to a complete night. What do you think?”
“Okay! Well, where would we go for our lovely dinner, may I ask?” I questioned cheerily.
“What’s your favorite place to go eat for a nice dinner out?” he retaliated.
I grinned up at him, catching his joking tone, “You know my favorite place to eat, don’t you?”
“Of course, babe. But I want you to say where you think we are going first,” Jasin claimed, ruffling his hair unconsciously.
Tapping my finger to my chin, I pretend to think about it for a moment. In truth, there was only one place I wanted to go and eat right now. It was perfect for both Jasin and I. It was quiet, simple, and a bit on the fancy side. So I went and said, “Country North.”
“Alright, you’re even dressed for it, too. Perfect and you most definitely wouldn’t want to go to Dino's Dinner like that. Eating while sitting in a bar dressed like that wouldn’t be all that good, now would it?” Jasin laughed and wrapped an arm around my waist.
“Ha-ha,” I chuckled and said, “Why not? It would work great.”
“Yeah, yeah, we’re here so c’mon.” Jasin unbuckled his seatbelt and opened his door, only to rush around the car and open my door for me. We were now at the restaurant, a quaint place that I loved. The food was excellent and fresh, just the way I liked it. The rest of the meal consisted of laughing and joking, just having a good time together.
After dinner, we went back to my house so I could change into something more average. I decided on a pair of casual jeans, a short sleeve t-shirt with a band logo on it, and my Converse high tops. As a last minute reminder, I grabbed the mail, as no one had remembered to, and dropped it off on the kitchen counter. Walking out of the house, I look out to see Jasin leaning up against his car.
“You coming, Billie? Or will I have to wait all day?” he joked. Laughing slightly, I rush over to him. By the time I made it over, he was no longer leaning on his car hood, but instead a few feet away. Going around him, I lean where he had once been. He turned to face me and dipped his head to my level. Now, I’m not short by any means, but when I was with Jasin, I felt ten times shorter than I was. Carefully, I watched as he lowered until our lips met in a kiss. For a moment, we battled with only our tongues and lips, a war worthy of winning.
Soon we started to graze into a walking motion, not really talking or saying a word. Hand in hand we walk out to the neighborhood playground. In this playground, is a small sidewalk for early morning joggers and women who rocked the mom jeans. One slab of the sidewalk though, was tilted due to the uneven dirt underneath. It made a great place to just lay and look at the stars at night. This had to be my favorite part of the entire neighborhood, besides my bedroom of course.
