A/N Hi, whoever's reading! This story is pretty short I know, but I'm writing another story that's going to be way longer! I hope you'll check it out I'm about to post the first part. It's called Behind The Wall. Thanks!

Matt

Wow, her life seems pretty hard. Having her family... like that. We ride to the rental car place. Then rush off into the shuttle to the airport. Then we rushed through security we were kind of late because of someone slept late. We were the last ones on and got seats at the very end of the plane. Fun. “How long is the flight?” She asks. “Oh um, I don’t know let me ask.” I look around for a flight attendant. “Hello? Hi, how long is the flight?” I ask politely. “It’s three hours and forty minutes sir.” She says smiling. I turn to Camille, “It’s three hours and forty minutes.” She rolls her eyes at me then says,  “I heard her. I’m right next to you believe it or not.” I laugh a little, she laughs to. Then we take off for a almost four hour flight.

I did everything to occupy myself. I read, ate, played games, but there was still another half an hour. I had to think of something to do. I look over to Camille and see she’s still taking a nap. Darn. She looks so innocent. I turn away and decide to open up the laptop. I see a little written thing pop up it says “Oh by the way Matt, You have to return The Diamond by March 12th.” The 12th?! Its the eleventh! How the heck am I gonna pull this off.

The flight finally ends and I decide it’s a good time to wake up Camille. “Camille, Camille, time to wake up. We’re here. Wakey, wakey!” She faintly smiles but it quickly turns into a frown. “Why’d you wake me up?” She says sleepily. “Because we gotta go!” I say smiling. “Oh, ok. But where are we going?” She asks. “The Blue Moon Bar.” I say.

We collect our stuff then get off the plane. We enter the hectic airport and weave our way to the street, where it’s raining. It kinda looks like those old movies with Chicago where it’s raining and black and white. I call over a taxi and open the door for Camille. “To The Blue Moon Bar, please.” I say looking at the driver. “All righty.” He says before zooming off, with normal taxi drivers driving skills. “Wow this guy is a terrible driver!” Camille whispers to me, which makes me laugh because she drives like that.

He stops in front of the bar. I tell him to wait here with Camille. “Camille, wait here, ok?” I say looking her in the eye. “Ok.” She says. I go out of the cab and into the bar. I see a bunch of guys sitting around. They’re not the kind of guys I would like to hang out with a lot, or anytime. “Oh look, its a new guy.” One says kinda slurred, obvious that he had quite a bit to drink. “We don’t like new guys.” Another says, he has a few gold teeth. There must be about ten of them. I see a few guys come at me like they’re gonna start a fight. Then I black out.

Camille

It’s been about ten minutes, maybe I should go in and check on things. I tell the driver to wait. I pick up Matt’s bag and my purse just in case the driver leaves, then tell him a few more things before getting out. I open the door and don’t see a pretty sight. There must be about ten guys on the ground knocked out, some possibly dead. Then I see Matt in the middle of all of it holding a broken beer bottle. He seems unharmed. “Matt! Matt! What happened?” I ask. He looks confused. “Oh um, I’m not sure. I just saw some guys coming at me and then I blacked out. Wait. I remember fighting them. Wow I’m pretty good I guess. I think I learned something about myself today.” He says completely serious. I look around, people are all over the place. “Hey um, I think we might wanna go...” I say. Police cars are coming.

We go out the back door to find the cad driver where I told him to be. We speed away. We stop at a light. “I think I might wanna hear a video...” He says. We listen together through some ear buds I have.
